I enjoy cooking (better together), adventures in dining out with friends and family (including my children) and exploring the great outdoors. Like most of us online, I didn’t expect to land here but I’m enjoying my new normal. I’d love to find a special person to share my life but I’m willing to wait for Ms Right to walk into my life. I love to play hockey, travel and listen to music (both old and new). Hot BC summers with an occasional cool beer (or glass of red) are big on my hit list as is cuddling on the couch in front of a fire and a movie at home the other 11 months of the year (that’s a joke ha ha …it snows in Calgary almost all year round.) Nice guy sounds so terribly cliche'. Hamsters are nice. My friends might describe me as many things...Unpredictable? Dangerous? Warm hearted, caring? I can't be surmised with a few simple words but I'll try. I'm old fashioned in ways, I do like the simple things in life. I don't place value in 'things' like cell phones, T.V's or I pads. I value family, friendship, love and honesty. Yes really. I believe a man should be judged by his actions and his words, not by what he owns. I try not to complain and get hung up on things. When life is a bit*h, slap it and move on. I'm most proud of the two beautiful girls I have raised. I'm proud of what I do with my work, and although I truly love my job, I do my best to leave it there when i drive home. I'm grateful for everyday I get to see another sunrise. One example of what makes me smile might be...watching someone who's obviously had the worst day ever, smile. I Love that. My dog really makes me smile because she has a heart of gold. I do have a penchant for good music, and love to play guitar with my buds when we can. I spend as much time as I can outdoors and ski a lot from November to May, when I try to get away camping as much as possible. I do aspire to travel the world when the time is right.

. not sure how to describe myself. i have a good sense of humor and enjoy spending time with friends and trying new things or just hanging out at home watching a movie or historical documentry. recently took my first vacation in over ten years and would like to try more travelling instead of just working all of the time. i enjoy planting a garden every year for fresh veggies and try growing different things and trying new and different recipes.
