the most influential person for me, other than my parents, would have to be one of my mentors that has significantly influenced the way i view the world (like, turned it upside down). while it is a life long process i am now far more aware of what it takes to push back ignorance and error (starting with recognizing it) and what it takes to make a difference in the world ... so yeah, that is quite the first question!
What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?
not sure there is "one" ... here are a few (probably more characteristics than qualities):
- someone who can laugh at themselves
- someone who is engaged in life and believes 'it' is not about them, but they are about 'it' (life)
- someone who can roll with the moment and be accepting
- someone who likes to live an active and healthy lifestyle (morning lattes aside, of course)
- someone who gets kids and parenting - not like it totally "defines you" but ... you get it

i think people notice that they feel "safe"??? - a comment i've had a few times. people tend to share their challenges with me .. so maybe my ability to listen? i suppose i could go around asking people but that feels just a bit too narcissistic

i have to say that i truly don't "WISH" (unless i am in self denial, and i don't think i am) there is anything people would notice right away that they don't.
