Actually, I am a very good listener and am there no matter what. My heart is on my sleeve which can be a good thing or a bad thing. I have three girls and one boy. The boy doesn't live in Calgary but I share my three girls, two weeks on and two weeks off. I am a very hands on Dad and will always be there for them. Stopped smoking over a year ago and feels great.

I'm the guy who was taught by the best, (my mother), to treat a lady with respect, to open door's and walk on the curb side of the street, to protect and show respect at all times and if your with the right woman you'll find little acts of kindness are always returned!
I also would love to go out salsa dancing with the right woman as I used to love folk dancing when I was younger. I love fine dining and traveling. I like getting dressed up for my partner and enjoy a romantic dinner for two... I love a nice back yard with shrubs and some yard work to de-stress, assist with renovations, and generally be a handy man :)
I've lived in Vancouver for 14 years and Calgary now for 16 years. Love being close to the country, the mountains, and outdoors but do miss the water, but that's what travel to Hawaii and abroad takes care of....
Love to have that special friend to share in the fun and excitement of travel and visiting of new countries.
Travel back to New Zealand with me and see God's earthly wonder where I grew up as I appreciate it more today than ever!! :)

But my mom is getting old and getting on my nerves so I'm looking for a new mommy figure in my life. You should know how to ccok and cleaning is a definite requirement. An interest in science fiction, video games would be nice but not necessary. You should have a car cause dating on Calgary transit really sucks but really I don't go out much. Meet a man from Canada. I have lived in Calgary for almost two years now, and moved to Mission less then a year ago and love this neighbourhood. Has some good running and biking paths and the river is right here for floating during the summer. This is the third continent and ninth city I am living in. Clearly I hate to travel...
I love soccer and staying active, but the cold does not seem to agree with me. Am open minded, all about trying new things, experiencing other cultures and not very easily offended. I love laughing, poking fun at and joking about most things, because I find the best way to go through life is with a smile on your face, but I do know where to draw the line.
I like planning trips and going away somewhere at least twice a year, but can also be spontaneous and see where the road takes me.
Friends are very important to me, I love hanging out with them and keep in touch with the ones I cannot see that often.
