I find the positive in most any situation and since I have been a single woman, there have been many! My kids are everything, though almost grown, they are amazing, young adults.
In my spare time, when I get it, I love to do many things. Friends and family are super important. I love to be outside and am slowly trying to build my acreage yard. Love spending time with my horses, dogs and Stoney LaRue (super cat!). Enjoy almost all sports both watching and playing.
I like to paint (not walls so much) and always have a supply of canvas ready,,.just in case.

I have traveled throughout Europe and am looking forward to a couple of weeks in Italy this July. Camping is fun but I think pulling my RV out west is the only way to go (no more tenting!). Really need to get out and explore more of this unique country we live in.
Not into the bar scene. I go only to support a super talented youth who has come into my life. Since those are where he gets his gigs, that is where I find myself at times. I am game for almost any kind of entertainment, from concerts, dining, and theater to backyard fires, movie time on the couch and (gasp) shopping!
Have held many different jobs in the past, from tree planting to working at the RCMP Dog Service Training Center. I have found my last career and I love it, teaching is what I am meant to do.
I love to laugh, and do, all the time so finding someone who shares this trait is a must!

Just a thought: Online dating poses many problems from what I see. Trust is the biggest one. If you have inconsistancies in your profile one may just think you are here for the wrong reasons. The small things in life make me smile the most and I love living on my acreage in the west country of Alberta but traveling helps clear my mind and appreciate even more the life and friends I have at home. Many of the little things in life make me smile and I love a bit of teasing and a good joke but my biggest smile comes when riding along on a trusted pony with a good friend for companionship. I'm an English tutor so must admit that I love to read a good book too.

. After 40 years of working, I finally through in the towel and am now fully retired. I love the outdoors and almost anything related to it except.... skiing, I had a serious ski accident many years ago that left me without an ACL and consequently I do not ski. I do hike and/or walk every day and work out with weights and or gym equipment. I head south every winter for 4 - 6 months and depending on the US government and their new regulations will continue to do so. My 5 grandchildren are all the apples of this girl's eye and I love to do things with them. I volunteer in the community and at the school they attend. I like travelling to other countries and throughout Canada and the US. I live in the country outside of Sundre far from the big city. and enjoy the lifestyle this offers me. Someone who has similar interests and is retired or semi-retired would be a great match for me. A widow for the past 6 years, this is all new to me and is certainly not easy. So there you have it.
