I am a fairly busy guy between work and raising kids, but still manage to find some down time now and then and want to find someone to share that with. I have been seperated for 4 years now and divorce will finalize this year (finally), So i can really start to look forward to the rest of my life. We all know that life is short...but I have a unique perspective that has taught me really how precious it is, i really try to live it like its your last day. That doesnt mean that I am reckless, quite the opposite, I recognize the importance of time that we spend with loved ones.
At the part where it asks if you do drugs...does that include adrenaline?? I have been a bit of a thrill seeker, I have been parachuting,done winter survival camping, winter camping, white water canoeing, TalMark skiing in the mountains (dumbest sport ever!! cross country skiing up a mountain just to ski down it..thats why we have chair lifts), dirt biking in mountains, as well as other adventures and occassionally I get to crawl into a burning building (more on that if you message me). These adventures just serve to provide balance in my life for the times when I am hard at work or just taking it easy at home doing a whole lot of nothing.
I am an honest open person with the patience of an oak tree (my kids are stubborn from the other side of the gene pool). I have had the same job for 5 years now, not because I love it but it allows me to do what I do love.
Most of the emotional baggage has been dealt with (probably a small bag somewhere I overlooked), and I am moving forward to the next stage. I can carry an intelligent adult conversation on psychology, philosophy, sociology numerology,politics,architecture, or something more silly like bugs bunny cartoons and who the heck thought up the name Aglet (depends on the mood of the situation). I dont believe I have all the answers because I havent figured out all the questions yet.
While I believe that physical attraction is important in a relationship, whats more important is whats inside, 10 minutes with a dull person can seem like forever and 10 hrs with an interesting person can fly by in moments.
It is immpossible to describe myself fully in the space allowed so if you want to know more, eventually you will have to talk to me, and if that goes well possibly meet. But for me what is most important is finding out if we can talk to each other. BTW messages of less than 30 words is more a collection of statements than a conversation.
