Date a woman from Alberta, Canada. I am a single professional woman that works a little too much and findng that I would like to change that up a bit. Life is short and don't want it to pass me by. I have a variety of interests and looking to meet some new friends to make me not want to work so much. Who knows ... perhaps a great match will be made.

Meet someone special from Canada. It's finally here, summertime ! Time to make the most of every hour of daylight and sunshine, time that can be spent under the night sky when the day is done. The inviting smell of a BBQ out back, or in a park or miles away from anywhere really. Time to pull on a practical pair of hiking boots, and head outdoors to breathe in the fresh air, smell the junipers and enjoy the sunrise and sunset. It's the most beautiful time of the year, we should enjoy it before it's over !

Date a soulmate from Canada. Might as well rip off the band aid quickly and get this right out on the table so I don`t waste anyone`s time... honesty - crazy talk, I know.
My job has me travelling about 85% of the time. Generally I leave way too early Monday morning and come home Friday evening. So IРІР‚в„ўm usually away 4 nights and home 3. Some weeks I work from home, other times I may work in or around Calgary. I don't plan on being on the road forever. The company I work for has a lot of Remote jobs where I could work from home but I need to put in a few years of "dues" on the road first. I look at it as a little pain now for long term gain. I was recently granted a US Work Visa so my options have expanded.
I'm looking for someone who is very secure in themselves, who wants to be with someone; doesn’t “need” to be. Regardless of my job, I can`t be someone`s "whole world"; each of us needs to be able to do things on our own. My spare time is limited and valuable and I'm ready to spend it building a relationship with someone special. Time spent apart during the week should make the time together that much more special, the anticipation has a chance to build and you don't take each other for granted.
I have an off the wall sense of humour, you’ll understand shortly. Some of my favourite movies include Slap Shot, Ghost Busters, Valley Girl (a young Nicholas Cage and Awesome 80’s music), anything with Jason Statham and I’m a sucker for a good Bugs Bunny cartoon – I will call him George, and I will Hug him and Pet him... sorry I was amusing myself there. I know -- it’s a strange combination; it gets stranger. If I’ve had a particularly stressful week, I like to turn on a good old Toho Godzilla movie and watch him stomp everything in his path, toss around a few monsters... all good things. Yes, sometimes I’m 8! It makes me feel much better; although you get some very odd looks on planes, usually somebody ends up poking me to confirm that I am indeed watching Godzilla. I specify Toho Godzilla because that Sony/Mathew Broderick thing was NOT a Godzilla movie.
Okay getting off the soap box. Food Network Rules! I can’t eat most of it because I’m Gluten and Lactose intolerant but it all looks so good. Don’t worry about the food thing, I haven’t starved yet and I work in some pretty small towns with limited options. Relaxing by a campfire with a glass of wine; good stuff. If said campfire is near water i.e. lake/ocean; even better stuff. Motorcycles – Awesome! Enough said. Remember Crazy Carpets? Those ruled; you just about killed yourself but great fun! The Zoo; pretty much any zoo - Calgary, Toronto. Love the Hippos. Air Hockey. Really suck at it, usually because I'm laughing too much but lots of fun. I’m a diehard Detroit Red Wings fan. I cannot be converted, many have tried – All have failed. I’m a Roller Coaster Junkie. I admit it, I have a problem. Even though my job is travelling, I do travel personally as well. Thailand (by myself; more guts than brains) was amazing! I have that song from the Sound of Music in my head... These are a few of my favourite things.... At least that’s better than when I get Kung Fu Fighting stuck in my head. Ha!! You’re thinking about it now aren’t you? Everybody was Kung Fu fighting, those cats were fast as lightning..... That’s just mean.
Moving right along... clearly I need someone with a good sense of humour because IРІР‚в„ўm going to do things that youРІР‚в„ўre going to laugh at. If you're too straight laced IРІР‚в„ўm going to drive you crazy. SQUIRREL!! Sometimes random things just pop out. LetРІР‚в„ўs see what else, someone who doesnРІР‚в„ўt take everything so S E R I O U S L Y and can laugh at themselves.
So there you have it, I wonРІР‚в„ўt even do the nut shell joke. How did I get... Stop it. Awfully tempting. If you havenРІР‚в„ўt run screaming from your computer, drop me a line and IРІР‚в„ўll see if I can try harder.

Meet a woman from Canada. I am a smart, fun, outgoing woman, who likes to have fun with life. I am very grateful for my two children, who seem to have outgrown their mom now, but they make me laugh incredibly hard with a teenagers way of thinking.
My friends usually tell me that I have a very quirky sense of humor, as some of the strangest little things can send me off laughing.
In my spare time, I spend time with friends, and on quiet nights, curl up and read a good book.
I am looking for a man that is genuine, and truthful and just funloving, and can just let himself go, and be himself around me.

. New to Edmonton after being away for 17 years. Moved here in May, 2012. WhatРІР‚в„ўs new here? WhatРІР‚в„ўs your favourite festival? Are the Eskimos going to win this year? What's new at the Art Gallery?
I am a dynamic, fun, positive woman who is looking for the same in my man. I am comfortable at a sports game or an art show opening, at a wine tasting or in a beer pub. I like walking and hiking and wouldnРІР‚в„ўt mind going to the gym along with you. I recently made some big decisions about my life including changing communities and applying to do a Masters Degree.
Considered 'movie-star curvy,' I'm just in the process of getting back into shape. Need to lose about 25 lbs. I taught aerobics for 14 years and have been on three teams for the Canadian Death Race in Grande Cache. Most recently in 2010. I don't enjoy running all that much but I will do it. I prefer walking the trails in the city or hiking in the mountains. I also swim and have done three Super Sprint Triathlons.
I golf - when I have to. Usually I'm the entertainment. I cross country ski, not downhill. I can go to movies, dinner or just about anything else by myself and have a thoroughly good time. I like camping and fishing (but can not be around the cleaning / cutting because I faint, no kidding.)
I'm considered artsy-fartsy. You've been warned. That doesn't mean I stand with my fist under my chin while looking at paintings. It means I appreciate all aspects of the Arts world. I've been in many theatrical productions (dramatic, comedic and musical) and I've organized art shows, concerts and yoga retreats.
I lived all over Canada while I was growing up and am very patriotic. I've been to Ottawa for Canada Day. I don't have any tattoos but if I were going to get one it would be the Canadian flag or a maple leaf. My nose is pierced.
I love my job and IРІР‚в„ўm going to be starting on my Masters degree in Intercultural and International Communication this September. It's a two year program and I'll be working full time while I do it. I've done some work around fighting against racism and discrimination and welcoming and inclusive communities. Those are the areas I'd like to work in once I have my Masters. Could be here, could be somewhere overseas.
Last year I joined Rotary and have joined a club here. I volunteered for the Edmonton International Jazz Festival and will be at Taste of Edmonton. I'm one of the lucky ones who got tickets for the whole weekend of the Folk Festival.
I believe in dinosaurs and the Big Bang Theory. I know where Orion is and what Castor and Pollux are but haven't made it to the Telus World of Science since I've moved back. That would be a good place for a first date...
You are a fun, funny, confident, available man (read: not "Separated") who doesnРІР‚в„ўt spend all of his free time in front of a television or computer. You are comfortable at a backyard BBQ with my friends and at dinner parties for my work and understand that we both need time apart. You have, or like, dogs, not cats. You can cook a great salmon, know which wine to pair it with, and you own suits. You have few, or no, spelling or grammatical errors in your profile description (unless English is your second language) and you are smiling in your photos. You are at least 5'10" (yes, it matters to me) because I'm 5'7" and like to wear heels. You also have the sense to leave your smart phone in your pocket when weРІР‚в„ўre out together, unless you have a grandchild that may be born at any moment.
I'm ok if you have kids but think it's important to first meet alone and see if we click. I'm interested in dating YOU, not your kids. If things go well for a while then we can introduce kids but not right off the bat.
If none of the above has made you laugh, it's not going to work out between us.

. Recently moved back to YYC after a 30 year absence. Separated with two kids aged 11 and 14. I have lived abroad most of my life so I would like someone who has travelled and has some culture. I am not looking to get romantically involved unless you sweep me off my feet and treat my kids as well as they deserve to be treated!

. I am looking to meet my partner...my equal...someone to share my life with. My friends would describe me as kind, considerate, loyal, honest, trustworthy, funny....someone worth getting to know.

I am confident, down to earth, career minded, easy going, good sense of humor and pretty young looking . Serious about life but with kid mind sometimes :-) I enjoy dinning out, coffee shops, biking, hiking, movies, teathers, reading, diverse music, working out and travelling.
