After being ill a person makes some great changes in life. The items that were once important are not the case no longer. Now completly recovered, my priorties have changed and money is not one of the biggest factors in life. The most important items are family, friends, and a companion to share your life with. . After 40 years of working, I finally through in the towel and am now fully retired. I love the outdoors and almost anything related to it except.... skiing, I had a serious ski accident many years ago that left me without an ACL and consequently I do not ski. I do hike and/or walk every day and work out with weights and or gym equipment. I head south every winter for 4 - 6 months and depending on the US government and their new regulations will continue to do so. My 5 grandchildren are all the apples of this girl's eye and I love to do things with them. I volunteer in the community and at the school they attend. I like travelling to other countries and throughout Canada and the US. I live in the country outside of Sundre far from the big city. and enjoy the lifestyle this offers me. Someone who has similar interests and is retired or semi-retired would be a great match for me. A widow for the past 6 years, this is all new to me and is certainly not easy. So there you have it.
