. Serendipity seeks synthesis. I'm an independant retired woman with traditional beliefs and participate in traditional ceremonies when I can. Enjoy my home, gardening, cooking and canning but love to travel too. I've never lived in a city, but I've been fortunate to have explored most parts of North America, parts of Europe, England, South Africa, , Mexico and Belize, the south pacific islands of Figi and Samoa, Australia and New Zealand. I've been to Sturgis and skiied Austria and Northern Italy. Spent many an idyllic winter living and diving in Cozumel. Sailed a lot of the pacific northwest. I'm a silver medallist markswoman and have happily camped in my teepee for weeks in the northern woods hunting moose. Was raised on a small farm in Alberta, so know what hard work is all about. Can milk a cow or train a horse. Have always had dogs. I love cozy winter evenings with the wood stove blazing and curling up with a good book or a good movie. My ideal life would be spending six months of each year on Vancouver Island, the winter months in a sun drenched, good diving locale playing backgammon on the beach.with someone special . The Adventure continues. Am off to Cuba mid novermber until the end of March. May be back after that.

Life is good! I love my kids , I love my dog, who always greets me like I have been away forever!! I love to laugh 'til it hurts, ponder the universe, see the sky full of stars, walk barefoot through the sand filling my pockets full of shells, wander the bookstore,sip a latte and chat, and watch my daughter dance! I have a good heart, a good sense of humour, and a good idea of what I don't want!! I guess when I meet my perfect match, I'll know. Definitely will not take themselves, or life, too seriously, will be kind, will listen more than they hear!! Absolutely, he will have a sense of humour ... the rest will be revealed after we stop laughing!
