If i had to describe myself (and i clearly do) i would have to go with the "strong silent type". People who know me best would likely say i'm anything but shy but to an extent I clearly am. In my spare time I enjoy a variety of tantalizing activities. For the last few years i have immersed myself in a pretty active lifestyle whether it be the gym or just getting out for a hike for some fresh air. Exercise is great way to alleviate the stresses of life. In keeping with the everyday male image i also love to get out and have a pint on the patio....or the tailgate. It's all about balance haha. Summertime is the best time in my mind and when it hits i love to rack up the road trips or head to the woods for a wobbly pop by the fire. Nothing is more relaxing. Above all other interests i must say music has got to top the list. I like all sorts...and yes Metal is one of them...I'm just telling the truth. We can listen to country though if you like : ) I hear it's fairly popular.
In terms of my match?? I wouldn't say i have a type. I am not into the bar star though. I like the good girl...maybe perhaps the type that lives next door lol. Of course looks are important to me but chemistry has got to be number one. I would be lying if i said i wasn't a tad bit picky over the years, but hey in my opinion it's quality not quantity so i think i'm entitled to that.

Meet men and women from Canada. I have a wide variety of interests, and I'm really looking for someone to do some of them with me. I've recently taken up running for the first time in my life . In December I ran my first 5k in the record breaking time of 42 minutes and 3 seconds (well, record breaking for me anyway). I'm hoping to slowly bring my time up to eventually run a 10k in under an hour.
I enjoy travelling, and have spent some time in Thailand and the Philippines, as well as destinations closer to home. If it's a sunny day, I love just getting in the car and driving somewhere to see what's there. My most recent trips were to Las Vegas (for a conference. Didn't love it - it certainly wasn't refreshing for my soul) and Disneyland (did love it - Disneyland puts on a good show, for sure!). Closer to home I love the drives up to Whistler or Harrison Hot Springs.
I'm really active with my church. I'm a musician and play on the church worship band. Piano is my main instrument, but I'll pick up whatever I can - like the accordion I got from my uncle as a teenager (I promise not to make you listen to it!).
