Want to spend rest of my life with that person who is non-judgemental. Who can look through my eyes as well. Able to look at things as they are, than looking though tinted glasses. Someone who is true to himself. One who is capable of looking forward then looking back.
I look much younger than my age. This picture here is taken in Jan 2012, weigh 123 pounds and in pretty good shape.
Longing for that loving, emotional, physical connection. Loving and being loved with one's entire heart is what I'm longing for. I'm passionate about life - love to be hugged kissed cuddled and more......you know what I mean? Want to enjoy every dimension in a couple's life.
Been separated for the last two years after a long marriage which was my first one, now heading towards divorce.
I'm financially independent, own my house in Burnaby British Columbia and get a rent. Preferably, would like to meet with someone closer to Vancouver.
Thanks for viewing my profile. Best of luck to every one who is looking for love here.

Meet a soulmate from Burnaby, Canada. I'm looking for someone who can be my friend as well as anything else that may develop, someone to trust and who trusts me, someone who has seen what life has to offer and even with the bad can come up for air and keep on keeping on. I am a Spiritual being and need someone to respect that even if we don't share the same beliefs.
Most of all, someone who can laugh, eventually, when the world is not working the way you would like.. As for me, it's complicated, but not with baggage, just that I am not one dimensional and hope you aren't either.
I like to travel, and am open to any number of adventures. But be warned, I am working on completing my recovery from an injury and have some physical limitations. I can't climb mountains, ski, or engage in many sports. BUT, I love to dance and my current favorite is Tango. I love to read, enjoy good food, good movies, theatre, concerts etc. I also enjoy staying home and conversing, and just hanging out. I don't need to be entertained all the time and appreciate being able to be quiet and silent together without it being empty.
I believe that each person in any relationship should have part of their lives separate from the other. At our age we hopefully have a life and want someone to compliment it rather than be it.
If this sounds like you, let me know and we can explore the possibilities.

Date a woman from Burnaby, Canada. Children laughing and playing make me smile. The early morning sun, lighting up the sky at the break of dawn still amazes me. I love surprises and people who are caring, spontaneous and open minded. My kids bring me great joy. I love to help others. I care about honesty, open and genuine communication. I have a very good sense of humor and appreciate those who can see the funny side to life sometimes, not taking everything so seriously. I love the outdoors and going for long walks, rain or shine. In some ways, I'm old fashioned, or maybe I'm just afraid but I like the man to take the initiative. I like to have the door opened for me. I'm very passionate, compassionate, easily forgive and forget, and expect the same from someone that I become involved with. That special person in my life is able to talk about anything and really does enjoy conversation, sharing deep feelings and demonstrlating love and affection spontaineously. When it comes to dealing with life's issues , whether it be simple differences of opinion or conflicts of a deeper nature, I expect to be able to communicate in a genuine, honest, and open way, always respecting that we are indivduals. I'm looking for someone who is my best friend, who shares his thoughts, who is emotionally available and fun loving, and loves to continue exploring this universe and life's opportunities.

Meet someone special from British Columbia, Canada. I share my time between my friends and my family. My friends say I am kind, sweet and good (which isn't always true) They say I look too young for my age (I think that's true) and my friends say that they appreciate what I have to say (this is not always true either) My family is very important to me, my faith is a large part of who I am and I am trying to be more aware of life...life is a gift...I want to enjoy it. I am looking for someone to share time with, someone who will accept me for who I am, someone who will enjoy a nice meal, conversation and entertainment, whether it is taking in a sports event, taking a walk or going to the Opera. I love reading books and talking about them. I like a conversation that goes both ways, sharing words. I really would love to take dancing lessons, I am learning to play guitar and I enjoy doing Yoga. I like sitting by the lake, any lake, ocean water or even just my pond. I really like walking my dog, keeping up with my yard work and volunteering at the hospital.
I don't know why it is so hard to meet people, I'm going to try this for a while...maybe it will lead me to you.

Date a soulmate from British Columbia, Canada. This new year began with snow shoeing on the local mountain with friends. April found me within the top 10 women in my division of the Sun Run, and completion of the Vancouver half marathon in May. I enjoy my house and garden which I've maintained independently for many years. My two adult children are also a sense of pride and maintain their independent lives as well.
My career path has placed me in a scenario where humour is the best medicine and that applies to much of life in general. A great day might entail a bike ride by the water or a hike through the trees. A well deserved glass of beer after hiking the Grouse Grind is a rightful reward for the effort or a panoramic view atop the Squamish Chief is exhilarating.
Sharing some energy in doing that which makes you happy, with a kind, honest individual adds to the balance of life.... bonus if you have a dog or a cat. Matrimony is not my goal, but if a respectful connection sharing time, possibly discovering together a National Geographic Wonder or watching a play ignites your interest, this is where my heart lies. And don't forget the fun!
I'm vegetarian, enjoy the outdoors and find nature to be a very important component of life to be appreciated.

Meet a woman from British Columbia, Canada. I am artistic, open-minded, a free-spirit who appreciates great discussions/conversations and a person who dares to reveal themselves and doesn't play mind-games. I like people who can be up front with their emotions and be open-minded towards other people & cultures.
I value family life and stable relationships, loyalty, honesty and truth.
I would like my date to have a tasteful sense of humour; who's able to laugh at themselves and is witty. He must believe in continued personal growth and dare to be adventurous and fun loving. He must also be a free-spirit who has their feet firmly planted on the ground and knows where they are going in life
I believe wonderful relationships begin with mutual respect for each other's differences along with reciprocity.
Do you know where you are going in life?
Let's discuss the possibilities...............!!

Date someone special from Canada. I am a BBW (short and round). I am widowed now for 3 years, and it's time for me to get out there and find someone to spend the rest of my life with. I don't believe life is meant to be spent without a partner.
I really don't like to see a day go by without laughter and a hug or two.
I think my friends would tell you that I am shy when I first meet someone, but become much more open as time goes by. I'm not quick to judge anyone, and I'm old enough to know that you cannot judge a book by its cover.
One of the things I first notice about someone is whether or not their smile reaches their eyes. I love to see that twinkle in the eye.
I'm not a materialistic person, and sometimes the best times are those spent wandering through Stanley Park kicking the leaves and eating a hotdog. You don't have to spend a lot of money to have fun.
I'm most comfortable in blue jeans and a t-shirt, and I kind of hope you are, too. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not a slob and I clean up pretty good. I just like the comfort of a pair of jeans.
I have a son who's 31 and he's off on his own. I have family here in the Lower Mainland, as well as in Alberta and Ontario. Family is very important to me, and when I returned to Vancouver in 2009 from Chicago I vowed I would never move so far from my family again.
I'd like a fella who loves to laugh, but knows when to be serious as well. Good conversation is always a plus. Someone somewhat spontaneous.
I'm not a religious person, and I very seldom attend church. I believe there's someone out there spiritually, I just haven't figured out who she is yet and what her purpose is in my life.
I like to walk, slowly, hand in hand with my fella. I am deathly afraid of the water, so I'm not fond of boats. I will stand on the pier and watch you head out in a boat, and you will find me on the pier when you return. I like to watch the Chicago Cubs play baseball, and I've pretty much accepted the fact that they're not going to win the World Series in my lifetime.
I don't understand football. I am thrilled with the Lions, though.
I think the Canucks are pretty good, but I'm not a passionate hockey fanatic.
I'm lousy at most sports, but I will watch them. I'm curious to know why most men's sports centre around chasing a ball around. Think about it....golf, football, tennis, basketball, baseball. Men in uniforms (and women love men in uniforms) chasing a ball around. I guess I need a man to explain that to me (wink).
I'm caring, I'm loving, I'm non-judgmental. I am very seldom angry because there's just no use in flying off the handle. Sometimes I can be opinionated, but I've been known to change my opinion! I don't lie, and I don't cheat, and I don't tolerate people who do.
I enjoy holding hands in public. Nothing wrong with showing that you enjoy being with the one you're with.
Oh...when the weather is good I like to take my sister's little dog, Gilbert, to the off-leash beach or the dog park. We both have fun, and it's good for us.
So, that's me. Tell me about you.
