Just came back to the okanagan, if a year and a half ago can be considered "just", and am starting to put a life together here. Don't really know anyone other than family and my roomies.
I work with dogs and am surprisingly a big fan. When i was younger i couldn't stand dogs, mostly they fell into 1 of 2 categories. Little n yappy and big n sloppy. Yet now i'm in love with a Pug named Diamond :). thus the dog hair in my photo, if you can even see it.
I couldn't really say what i'm looking for in a "potential mate" (hehe love that term, sounds so caveman). There are quite a lot of beautiful women on this site *cough* suck up *cough*. Kind, caring, shy yet a little outgoing. Definately must have a sense of humor. Someone i could talk to for hours. A gamer chick would be a novelty, i've never actually dated one before.

Well, I'm first generation Canadian, and as you can guess, the family came over from Old Blighty. I lived in London for about 7 years as well so bit of an anglophile. Love everything to do with the mother country, except living there. A bit of irony, I know.
Actually, it was a fantastic experiece, almost too much fun to be honest, and popping over to the Continent is definitely something I miss. Our language is a passion of mine so etymology is an interest and I enjoy using our vast vocabulary to make people laugh. Humour is my creative outlet.
Really happy here in the Okanagan though as most of my family are in the Kootenays and best friends in Vancouver, so nice middle ground. Regarding my ideal relationship scenario, that would be equally inspiring one another both mentally and physically each and every day.
My ideal woman would be one who basically makes life fun. I'm pretty comfortable in my own skin so need someone who is as well. You can drop me in all kinds of situations from a deep conversation between just the 2 of us, the dinner table with your family and/or closest friends or a room full of strangers and I will enjoy myself.
