I fill up my time by hanging out with friends, some of my favorite things to do are.. going camping (Although that doesn't happen as much as I would like!) I love to go to new restaurants and try to at least once a week. I love wine, there's nothing better than watching the sunset with a bottle of wine on the beach and I'm always trying new wines and have yet to find one that I do not like. I love dancing it's almost always fun lol I also enjoy hanging out at my place or a friends and watching movies! I like to read, I usually read about a book a week. I also go to the Aquarium on the regular because i'm a dork :)

If I had to choose one word to describe myself and my closest values, I would say chivalrous; I'm the kind of guy that opens doors for you or gives you my jacket if you're cold. I'm a quiet person, but I have a strong personality, speaking mainly when i have something important or meaningful to say, but I do talk more once i get to know the person. I'm a very guarded person, but that is just to protect myself. If you get close enough to me to crack that armour you will find a fiercely loving heart that will be yours as long as you want it. However, I am more for long term relationships, as I see no point in dating someone when I can already see the end looming in the distance.
I find I am both very athletic, enjoying sports and outdoor activities, and being quite a geek, with an aptitude for numbers and a love of video games. I have tried many professional fields, a few of which being mechanical engineering, personal training, psychology and paramedicine. I am currently attending the Art Institute of Vancouver for Programming, and I believe this is what i'll finally stick with. I love music, just about anything physically or mentally stimulating, and I'm willing to try almost anything at least once. I'm a pretty laid-back, relaxed kind of guy with a good sense of humor and I do my best to stay positive.
What I think is most important in my partner is definately her personality. Someone with a good awareness of what they want, and with strong family/partner values who places as much importance on our relationship as I do. It would probably be better if she accepts or even enjoys my protective nature. Someone who enjoys simple pleasures like laying in my arms while we watch a movie. Also I would feel exceptionally lucky if my partner were also adventerous enough to drag me out of the house to hit the slopes or go enjoy a day of kayaking and camping out, as my school and eventual work will keep me sitting at my computer for prolonged stretches of time developing carpel tunnel.
