Ok, I'll say a bit more. I have lived in Vancouver for 10 years and really haven't had the opportunity to enjoy the city. I do enjoy trying new things and looking to do that with someone. My family, 2 stepsons and a grandson are important to me and like spending time with family.
I think I'm ready to "talk" to other men and this seems to be the way to do it these days.Not interested in picking someone up in the bar but my married girlfriends have their husbands are on the "look out" for some matches for me as well. I have been advised to make sure you that the men I am meeting have their own teeth and won't wear black socks and sandals...good advice from my friends!
Trying to be more active and just started jogging/walking, and it's going pretty good. I am far from being athletic but I'm comfortable in my own skin just would like it to fit better. I do have a bit of a sarcastic sense of humor and do enjoy a good laugh. I am a bit shy but once I get to know you it's sometimes hard to get a word in edge wise. I do enjoy a challenging conversation and can agree to disagree Trying this out for a week and see how that goes. Would consider first meeting just that, if there is an interest we can set up a date.
Noticed most of the 45plus guys own a motorcycle and I have to admit I have never been on a bike....thought I should let you know in case that is a deal breaker. LOL

Things I don't like: critical, judgmental people, beer (I'm allergic), indifference, apathy, intolerance, unreliability, arrogance, long nails on guys, denile, slasher movies, pee on a toilet seat, GPS's that give wrong directions, smoking, self absorption, stingyness, uncare for oneself, verbal diahrrea.

- the right kinds of food and the "wrong" kinds of food (albeit only now and again - lol)
- work/career, because let's face it, we should love or at least, quite enjoy and in many cases, be proud of what we do, but it should not singularly define us
- family and friends, but "us" remains the primary relationship. Hence, our children, no matter their age,(assuming you have one or more or perhaps none) learn and embrace what we create between ourselves, thereby our strong friendship, loyalty and respect would naturally flow to them as well.
- exercise, but not so restrictive that we miss a great day cruising a car show or swap meet because we haven't done our cardio yet
