However, the idea of lurking about the hardware aisle at the Home Depot wasnt very appealing nor was it very attractive peering over the oranges at the Metro so here I am.
I am self employed and loving it! I love the freedom of being your own boss, playing hookey if I want to...though I am a bit of a work horse so I don't skip off work too often. I am honest and up front and expect the same from anyone I'm with. I am as comfortable in a ball gown as a pair of jeans and in any social setting. I enjoy entertaining and cooking for my friends. Music is a big part of my life and I enjoy all types. My partner would have to have a good sense of humor and enjoy dining out, entertaining at home and weekend get aways.
I do like the finer things in life and work very hard to attain them. However, I am just as happy eating french fries as I am a 5 course meal. I enjoy wearing a ball gown and going out for a lovely evening as well as just looking at the stars on a clear night. I will cook my guests a multi course meal and enjoy every minute of it or sit around and eat pizza and drink Coke. Everything depends on the mood, time and place.

I will never be on the worst dressed list or under dressed for any event. I believe that appearance says a lot about a person's personality. I extend that same care to my surroundings, I like cutting my grass and digging in the flower beds.
I believe very much in the Golden Rule and a positive attitude is a must have. I am very happy with my life and surroundings, but if that special someone exists I'm open to seeing where things go.
