I really love my career and value every day at work. Taking my Masters degree currently keeps me busy but I can find a balance. Hopefully you like the outdoors, keeping fit and active, travelling and being out on the water. I like my wine red and my beer cold. I'm not very good at drinking hard alcohol, and I'm content with basic spirits, and most exclusively on the weekends, when there's no school or work. My coffee order is more complicated than anything you'll find in me, although I am complex in thought, words, and interests.
Intelligence is a plus, but arrogance and condescension are too much. My ideal female friend must know how to laugh, but she is not obligated to chuckle, guffaw, or gasp at my words. If you can string some clever words together, and do it with a creative flare, then you're probably someone who will pique/peek/peak my interest.
I'm active and fit, but I don't spend my life lifting weights and admiring my tone in the gym mirrors. If I can stay in shape at the pool, at the park, at the beach, then it's better time invested than gazing at my own weight-lifting reflection.

If you're willing to stay home with a good movie or a quirky quality TV, take in a game at the pub, hang in the kitchen and grill a burger or bake a pie, partake in a nice local dinner, take a walk on the beach with my dog, embrace the culture of a live show, or spend a lazy afternoon at a caf?, then perhaps we have something to build upon. I have a variety of entertainment interests, and a recent appreciation for black humour, Irish comedies, and other obscure cinema. While I am open to new activities, I don't have a bucket list (although writing one might be on that list), and I prefer not to jump out of airplanes or off cliffs, bridges, or mountains. When I'm old enough that it doesn't matter if the chute fails to open, I'll be more inclined to participate in these extreme heart jump-starting events. A warm beach with a cold drink is more appealing (to me) than a desperate jump from a functional aircraft.

If you've read this far, you're probably now convinced that I wasn't lying about being a writer. Maybe if I write enough words, I'll separate myself from those other online suitors who claim to be witty and intelligent, but will only write one-paragraph profiles that their friends cobbled together from used Hallmark cards. I can back up my verbosity claims with wise words, warm words, witty words, and playful words.
