Me: I am currently finishing my first year of a Diploma of Phytotherapy (Western Herbalism), and have a deep love and respect for health, bodies, healing, and things that grow! This summer I would like to take a Doula's certification course, and - in the end - I hope to become a Midwife.
I love to garden, but I'm still learning how to do that... successfully. I've recently picked up jogging again and find it's a great way to clear my head; I'm an early riser and think yoga fits nicely into the morning - I'm not a fanatic, but I find that it makes the day that much better. Whenever the weather is nice, I try to write papers sitting out my window enjoying the sun, because it always disappears too fast - make the most of the day, even if that means simply getting your daily dose of vitamin D.
My daughter and the program I'm in take up equal portions of my life.. But I'd like to add a little something (or someone) in there for Me.
You: Someone who uses their head and heart in conjunction more than once, annually. Someone who realizes that I have a child, and understands that dynamic a little :) Outgoing, driven, with an idea of where they are and where they'd like to be. . I never know what to write here...trying not to sound pompous or crazy is always a good start though. I'm pretty easy going and usually up for trying new things..even if it is trying blood soup from a street vender in Thailand. It is actually really good! My family and friends mean the world to me, I just wish I had more time to spend with them. My old boss calls me bohemian....but I think that is because I don't stress easily...at least that is what I'm going with! It might be more because although I dress up well...I prefer to be comfortable, which sometimes means doing things my way. I'm comfortable in most situations, get along with pretty much everybody, and just enjoy people. I love to laugh, and love a good conversation....especially when there are conflicting opinions.

I am new to the online dating scene so bear with me....I am a 26 year old mom of a very handsome little boy who has left a permanent smile on my face since the moment he came into my life two years ago. I am raising my son completely solo and it seems to have worked well for us to date, we are a team. But, as he is getting older and I have more "me" time it would be nice to meet someone for friendship first and perhaps more in the future. I work bankers hours as a lab tech. It's a career I enjoy on the most part, some days more than others. Once my day is done, so is the job. Weekday evenings are spent trying to squeeze in as much quality time with my son as possible. On the weekends, I am usually at a park, the petting zoo, or some other event going on in the city. I enjoy cooking and experimenting on my son new dishes I have come up with, reading, in music I like a little bit of everything although my favorite artist these days is Evanescence, I like board games although I am a sore loser :) I don't play many computer games but I will confess to owning The Sims (it's just like Barbie's for adults, who wouldn't like that?!), we go for lots of walks - although these days it seems to be a lot more sprinting after my son. I have a quirky sense of humor and am usually laughing before I can even get it out. I can be shy at first but once I warm up to someone I am very outgoing....hmm figure that one out :) I am incredibly honest and expect it in return. I need someone strong enough to handle respectful honesty. I don't think I have one physical "type" I am attracted to, everyone I have dated have each been completely different from one another. It just depends on chemistry. I believe in love at first sight and am a complete romantic at heart.
