I am easy going and easy to get along with (most of the time!) I am very independant and financially stable. I have many great qualities but then again I am definitely not perfect. I don't smoke or do drugs(never have)and I prefer a man that doesn't smoke or do drugs. Not into the bar scene(meaning partying and staying out all night) and prefer to be with smaller groups of people.

I do have a family and I enjoy spending time with my kids. My oldest two have families of their own now and I am blessed to have 6 beautiful grandkids! I have a daughter who still lives at home. She is 17 and prefers to be with her friends alot more now so that frees up alot of my time.

. I am looking for a life partner. I don't need to be taken care of, but want someone to share life's adventures with, laugh, cuddle next to a sizzling fire, dance under the stars, talk over a glass of merlot, or just go for a romantic walk holding hands. Being close to retirement, I've started laying out my next chapter, so to speak. I own a 44 foot sailboat in the Grenadines, a place I call home. You'll notice most of my pics are from last year, my sabbatical. Back since January in my second home, Fernie, teaching, and doing all the winter sports this beautiful resort town has to offer, catching up with old friends. Because of my outgoing nature, I meet people easily and travel well, something I plan to do more of in the very near future. Until then it's teacher's holidays, but that's not too bad at three months a year to sail or travel. Next holiday...16 days....March 10th, but who's counting!
I do also have a very private side. People who I trust and like, get to know me, and know me well, others are just aquaintances and get a smile and light conversation. My friends, I'd do anything for, and they know it.
My two boys are grown and both on their own in University busy with their own lives, as they should be. Family is very important to me and my extended family is very close. We are a relaxed, fun loving bunch that apprieciates time at each other's homes or gathering at the family cottage. Not afraid of commitment, I was married for twenty years and just recently ended a four year relationship, so please don't confuse adventure seeking with "player". I do love being in love, spontaneous, a hopeless romantic, what can I say.
Me, I really fit in anywhere, a girl that can be happy in the moment. I call it "being there". Life's too short to let even the small things get by, appreciate everything and it's easy to find happiness. I'm as content living remote on a boat or in the wilderness on a lake with solar or propane as I would be if you said let's dress up and go dancing and out to a 4 star restaurant.
