Date someone special from Invermere, Canada. I am told that I can be quite intense and serious minded but I sure do love a good laugh. I believe strongly in respect and justice and all that they imply. I am sometimes shy until I get to know you and i can be quite jovial when it is called for. I am quite open minded about most things and generally accepting of personalities that differ from my own as long as they are respectful. Some things that make me smile are my partners smile or laughter, a good golf shot or just coasting down a river in a canoe listening to kids playing on the shore. I love and have worked extensively with horses and dogs. I enjoy camping and I know my way around a sailing vessel having crewed aboard a racing yacht in the West Indies and up the Grenadines for three years. That was some time ago mind you. I love Mexico and its people and culture. I really enjoy golfing in the summer. I have not had many complaints about my dancing and I do enjoy a well prepared meal in a dimly lit atmosphere knowing that neither my partner nor I have to clean up once we are through.
I have 2 wonderful children and 1 gorgeous granddaughter.
I am looking for a friend with whom I might find greater purpose. Someone with whom I can share life's successes and failures. Someone who will be aware of my faults but prefer instead to focus on my attributes and love me for who I am.

there is much merit in living a "simple lifestyle" but not doing without and watching every penny...life is too short ...a comfy home, well stocked fridge, good bottle of wine...no time for bad coffee !!!!!
