I love to spend time in the summer camping (in a tent, not a camper), swimming, canoeing, and going on hikes. (However, I am scared of heights, so they have to be hikes through forests, etc. - rather than up cliffs!) I am not very good at sports, although I enjoy volleyball, tennis, and bowling. I love animals, especially dogs, and now that I have purchased my first house, I hope to adopt two medium-sized dogs within the next year or so. I am also hoping to overcome my "black thumb" and have some fun planning and landscaping my yard and garden. I love my career, and am very happy where I am working, so I am not planning any moves in the foreseeable future. I enjoy baking, but I don't like to cook, so if you are the opposite, that would be great! (I am also a very picky eater, and I don't have a problem with eating the same things over and over.) Unfortunately, I am a somewhat indecisive person, so if you are okay with having to make a lot of the little decisions (what do you want for supper, etc.), that would be very helpful! I like to learn new things, and I am not afraid to get dirty fixing my car. I try to save for the future, yet live for today... I have to set my clocks at least fifteen minutes fast, otherwise I am late for everything! I love to take pictures, but I am very camera shy. I also do not like to celebrate my birthday. I don't care about my age; I just don't like being the center of attention! I do NOT like tattoos, so if you have one... maybe. If you have six... sorry. As you can probably tell from my profile, honesty is very important to me, even if it doesn't exactly portray me in the best light. I strongly believe in treating others as I would like to be treated, and I do my best to support charities that are important to me. I also feel that it is very important to be friends with your soulmate, so I am not looking to jump into an intimate relationship too quickly. I want someone who can bring out the best in me, but also accept me at my worst. Someone who can make me laugh - a good (and somewhat dry_ sense of humor is a must!! I'm not a huge romantic and definitely not a princess so I don't need someone to shower me in gifts or take me out all the time, just someone to be my equal that I can have a mutual respect with. I need to take things slow in relationships, as I've been too trusting and open too fast in the past and gotten hurt. So I need someone who can be patient with me.
