I have no tolerance for bigots of any sort. I believe that it takes all the wonderful differences we humans exhbiit to make the world the interesting place it is. Also not a fan of organized religion.. I think spirituality for me is embodied in nature, in the wilds and the wind and waves crashing on the shore. That's all the god I need.
While I "talk the talk" about exercise, I'm currently recovering from two knee surgeries and awaiting the repair of a torn shoulder. I am less fit than at at any time in my life. I know it's transitory but it is hard for me. My goal for this year is to regain at least some of my physical self and get out on the walking trails and cycling paths.! I love being on the water as well, in any sort of boat. Kayaks and sailboats are the best, though!
Latest health crisis (June) is problems with my eyes. I am facing the possibility of vision loss in the not to distant future. Getting older is not for the faint of heart!

I like to laugh and joke around with people but know when to take things seriously. I cry in movies and commercials and what you see is what you get.
