I play hockey every week and get to the gym regularly. I love being outdoors and doing anything that gets the adrenaline flowing. When I'm not busy at work or doing something active, I read everything I can get my hands on, cook, renovate (it feels like I'm on my hundredth flip) or plan the next trip to Tijuana with my criminal friends and smuggling back narcotics, weapons and illegal migrants - just want to make sure you're paying attention.* I'm comfortable in my own skin and I like to make others I'm around feel that way too. I'm very approachable, and have yet to meet a person or topic that has escaped my ability to conversate with. I hate procrastination and do not hesitate to put ideas into action.

I meet people daily and yet I am on this site. The reason is that when I work, I work hard. I take it seriously and push myself as much as I can each day. I don't mix my personal life with work because they are not one and the same. I am passionate about what I do both at work and at home.
I firmly believe that happiness is the purpose of life. How we get there is different for all of us but too often I see people that are racing to a goal and it is that goal that defines them. Life is a journey and while I believe in doing well, I believe in enjoying the process. Life is so short, it's worth smiling every moment you can.
The qualities I admire in others is a never give up mentality. You commit to something, you do it. No turning back and no giving up. I was born and raised in Croatia, Europe (you know, that little country close to Italy with great food and potentially good soccer team)... Moved here 2 months ago and I hope I get to stay here on permanent basis... I love Vancouver area, but the only thing I don't like is that I miss my friends and family...
Currently my social life is almost non existing due to my recent relocation so I'm trying to do something about it .. .thus Match.com .. hmm, hope it helps :-)!
About me...I love reading and I always have a book near me... Every time I read a good one I feel a bit sad because it's over, until I start the next one... I like watching movies too, and on weekends I'll usually spend some time watching my favorite tv shows online...
I like to cook and bake, and even though I can make a decent meal I'm not the world's greatest cook :-)! But it's fun, especially when you have someone to share it with...

1.I love horseback riding. I have my own horse but he is a little old and out of shape now.
2. I am training to run a running the Scotia bank Marathon on Sunday (hoping for a time of 2 hours 20 minutes...not fast but hey I haven't even run a 5 k race yet
3. I love bike riding I own a street bike....
4. I love camping, lakes, fishing (only a little love for fishing I do get a little bored of it unless I am in really good company), swimming, jet skiing, kayaking.
5. I would love to try but never have snowboarding, rock climbing (lets start with indoors), the flyzone and well I will try just about anything once.
6. I don't have to always be on the move or doing something outdoors (although I prefer it). I do enjoy watching the odd movie but it needs to be something that isn't rehash. Limitless was the best movie I have watched in recent time. I love fires be it in a fireplace or campground (I will take a gas fireplace if need be). I love going to sporting events (watching team Canada play at the semi finals during the Olympics was a highlight in my life)but am not a huge fan of watching them on TV (If you have to watch every game from every team in every sport dont waist our time we wont work), plays anything live is pretty good but I am not too fond of concerts. I love games of any kind...mostly cards and poker though (I am going to go in the BC Championships this year (probabaly just the $550 bounty as $3000 is a little steep for me).
7. I LOVE to cook and bake....I am very good at it too...If I do say so myself
8. I love to travel. Spur of the moment weekend getaways are amazing!
Personality- I don't live to work, I work to live. Not much gets me angry or upset. If its not going to upset you in 6 months don't let it bother you now. I am just a generally caring, honest, easy going type of lady. (it's all those endorphins from working out:) I think that anyone you bring into your life should be there because they make you a better, happier person. If you bring a lot of drama or head games you'll be gone as quick as you came.
What I am looking for in a partner
1. Must be active....I do not need someone who is all muscles...a few extra pounds never hurt anyone but I do need someone who WANTS to be out enjoying life rather than watching it on TV
