I basically put my social life on hold while raising by daughter but now that she is older and more independant I find I have a lot of spare time on my hands. There are so many things I want to do and places I want to go but don't want to do them alone. I am looking for someone who lives a smple, somewhat healthy lifestyle that will encourage me to do the same.
I am a little shy and somewhat quiet until you get to know me.
I am hard working, honest, loyal, fun, and adventurous. I am not much of a talker but a very good listener. I don't like confrontation but rarely back down from a challenge. I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh (even at myself).
I enjoy hikes, walking on the dyke or the beach and going to the movies ( occasionally). I like driving to different towns or into the city for some shopping (don't always buy but love to look around). I am not crazy about crowds but love to people watch. I like most music ( except classical) and I love dancing ( 80's is my favorite).
I like camping (not in the rain)
On rainy days I like cooking/baking, reading magazines,playing board games and doing laundry ( I know crazy huh?).
I also like watching movies, mostly chick flicks, dramas ( not horror films) I like romantic comedies with happy endings.
I like Mexican, Italian, most seafood ( cooked) and anything with chocolate on it.
I like red wine and light beer. I like going out for breakfast on sundays ( I usually eat oatmeal during the week).
I would like to go back to Mexico and one of the best weekends of my life was in Whistler a few years ago.
I plan to take a road trip to California in the near future or go on a cruise.
