Currently im searching for my passion. Sailing seems to quench that thirst for now but im sure it won't last. A partner to travel with is ideal weather it be on the island or in Chile.
Meet a soulmate from Canada. I though I'd give this online site a try, as I haven't had much luck meeting anyone anywhere else. It probably doesn't help that I'm a bit shy (sometimes too shy). But once I get to know someone I do get more comfortable. I have been living in Victoria since 2005, and love it here. I have no idea what type of person I'm looking for, I just hope to meet someone that I can spend time with enjoying new and exciting activities.
Lately, I've been trying to get to the Gym atleast three or four times a week and to eat healthier. I also enjoy walking along Dallas Rd, and hanging out with my friends, who doesn't enjoy that? I'd really like to play board/card games like Monopoly or Uno more often, but don't know anybody else that does. I'm looking to try new activities, but don't know which ones to try, and it's always better to share experiences. I've even played curling (a couple of times) and golfed once, wasn't any good, but both were a lot of fun. I would love to meet someone that can cook, and maybe teach me some things in order to increase my cooking skills.
As for other interests they include: Anything to do with automotive (auto racing, car shows, etc), just going on random drives around this great city, video games, and movies.
I don't have any particularly favorite songs or artists, but I do enjoy Tool, Wierd Al, and Linkin Park, but I listen too just about anything.
Some of my favorite TV shows include: Smallville, Family Guy, Simpsons, Mythbusters, Star Trek (All), Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds and CSI (any).
As for movies, I have too many favorites to list. I have a lot of DVDs/BluRays, not all good ones though. A few of my favorites include: LOTR, Star Wars, Harry Potter, the New Star Trek movie, the Dark Knight, plus any other superhero, Sci-fi, fantasy, Zombie types and some anime.
While I haven't read too many books yet, I did enjoy The Hobbit & Jurrasic Park. I have started to read the Harry Potter series (currently started book #6) and when finished will get to the Chronicles of Narnia series or the Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy series. I have also tried on several occasions to read the LOTR series, but haven't gotten that far in them. I also enjoy Performance Auto & Sound car magazines and Star Trek magazines, as well as any Tranformers comics.

I am the mother of the cutest 5 year old. When I am not spending time with her I am usually found with my two best friends Jen and Mike. Friends to me are what is important in life. They are always there for me and I am for them. If I met someone that I found interest in it would be very important that my friends get along well with him. I am very easy going and not one to create drama, life is too short for that.
I have many interests that keep me busy with my spare time. I enjoy a good round of squash, walking my dog Charlie around thetis, watching movies either in or out, music bingo at the local pub, dinners out, live concerts, Canucks games etc.
I recently traded my car in for a truck in hopes to get a lot of camping in this year. I do enjoy camping either in a bush or at a provincial campsite. I tend to go on the few trips each year. I do have an old 1970 Datsun 510 that I put in car shows throughout the year.
I have been working at the same law firm for 10 years, own my own home and take excellent care of myself physically.
Am hoping to find that someone who makes my heart skip a beat, someone that is open and honest, someone that does not need to spend all of their time with me.
