Date women from Canada / British Columbia / Metchosin, 35 year old

Date someone special from Metchosin, Canada. Ok a little about myself....here goes....
I keep pretty active - love to run, golf, hike... who wouldnt when you live in a place like this!
I love adventure - always up for something and would consider myself to be spontaneous.
I find cooking at home as enjoyable as going out especially, when trying out new restaurants.
I enjoy any and all travelling especially road trips!!
Family and friends are very important to me and I would say they would describe me as caring, honest, good listener, positive, funny and genuine.
As for what I am looking for in someone...a great sense of humour and "looks at the glass half full" is a good start. Spontaneity and adventurous are great qualities but also having the ability relax and enjoy the quiet times is important too.
Happy to share more about me so if you want to know more please ask.
Best of luck on your search!

Meet a soulmate from Metchosin, Canada. Tired of lonely nights filled with internet prawn, IРІР‚в„ўm pouring my carp and sole into finding a moray, and IРІР‚в„ўm confident that when you fish upon a star your dreams come true. So if youРІР‚в„ўre waiting to hear more, with baited breath, hereРІР‚в„ўs my line.
Oops. Wrong online dating site. This is Match not POF. Oh well, still funny.
ME:
I have a sense of humour, most of the time, although it can be rather juvenile on occasion (my favorite joke is, РІР‚?what do you call a cow with no legs? Ground beef.РІР‚в„ў).

IРІР‚в„ўm always up for an adventure or new experience. Whether itРІР‚в„ўs sky diving, travelling to far off places alone (or with company) or pursuing a junior ranger badge at the ripe young age of 32 (better late than never, I say) I donРІР‚в„ўt rule anything out. Mountain biking is hands down my favorite pass time and IРІР‚в„ўm not afraid of getting dirty or ending up bloody and bruised (although I realize itРІР‚в„ўs not particularly attractive to some people). I havenРІР‚в„ўt been bungee jumping yet and BASE jumping is appealing but my mom would probably have a heart attack.
IРІР‚в„ўm rubenesque and I like it. Just like a Renoir painting I have curves and IРІР‚в„ўm ok with that. You should be too and if not, this is when youРІР‚в„ўll want to move along to the next profile. IРІР‚в„ўm no couch potato and IРІР‚в„ўm fit but I enjoy food and havenРІР‚в„ўt been on a diet a day in my life, and that likely wonРІР‚в„ўt change.
I grew up in a small town surrounded by nature (Nelson) and the outdoors is where IРІР‚в„ўm happiest. I mentioned mountain biking already but I also enjoy hiking, backpacking, kayaking, skiing (downhill and cross country) and car camping on occasion. I am not a city girl and I hate shopping. You might actually own more shoes than I do.
When IРІР‚в„ўm not swinging through the jungle on a vine covered in mud I like to watch movies (independent and main stream) and documentaries, read books (some fiction but travel literature may be my favorite) and get together with friends for dinner or drinks or both. I like music festivals, summer markets and special events.
I donРІР‚в„ўt like beer (well, unless it has chocolate in it), politics or hockey (sorry). I recycle but I canРІР‚в„ўt say IРІР‚в„ўm particularly environmentally friendly (even though I do have a degree in Natural Resources Conservation). I love Glass Tiger (sorry) and David Gray and the Hip and Radiohead and classical but IРІР‚в„ўm not a big fan of country and Jack Johnson inexplicably grates on my nerves.
YOU:
You have a sense of humour too. You can laugh at yourself and at my stupid jokes. Or at the very least no eye rolling when I tell stupid jokes.
You may not be a communications expert (who is) but youРІР‚в„ўre at least open to communicating. IРІР‚в„ўm no expert, either, but I think itРІР‚в„ўs hands down one of the most important parts of a successful relationship.
You are not a fair weather friend. YouРІР‚в„ўre around for the good AND the bad. ThereРІР‚в„ўs a point to the bad, after all. The bad makes you appreciate the good and not take it for granted. There are always kinks to be worked out, and everyone has baggage, issues and drama and anyone who says otherwise is either delusional or a liar. Everyone has baggage; you need to find someone whoРІР‚в„ўs willing to help you unpack. WeРІР‚в„ўre all human and no one is perfect. Well, except for maybe me. (Joking)
You have a job, and youРІР‚в„ўre good at it and hopefully like it but you still make time for family and friends.
YouРІР‚в„ўre easy going and non-violent. When youРІР‚в„ўre angry you donРІР‚в„ўt go ballistic and break things or say things you might regret later. Everyone gets angry; itРІР‚в„ўs what you do with it that counts.
You look like a young Colin Firth or Eric Banna. Just kidding. But if so thatРІР‚в„ўs a bonus.
Ultimately I'm looking for a partner in crime. I want to be like my grandparents, who have been together for over 60 years and still adore one another. That's so rare these days. So if you're interested, drop me a line!
