Date a soulmate from Canada. First Off, thank you for viewing my profile and taking the time to read this Disclaimer.....just kidding! Allow me the pleasure to introduce myself!
I am a 37 year old Indigenous Man from Ontario, my nation is Anishinaabe (Ojibwa) and I had just rediscovered my roots that I had lost through Anglo-Assimilation! Don't get me wrong, I am not bitter, or angry, I am just finally happy with the person that I am, ancestry and all!
As you may have noticed, I am a musician and I love all types of music, every thing from bluegrass to electronica, but I feel that alot of music today lacks conviction and emotion, but there are a few gems that make it to the Top 40, like Feist and Adele and I really am liking Arcade Fire and Ben Harper, they are a mainstay on my iTunes. I also enjoy doing reno's around the house, everything from drywalling to painting and redecorating! I like HGTV and watching it whenever I am not working.
For leisure time when I am not working, I enjoy swimming, hiking and snowboarding or just sitting back relaxing at my local coffee haunt people watching; no I am not a voyeur or a stalker creep, I am just so keenly aware of my surroundings! I enjoy good books, foreign films and good movies. I also am a proud father of three beautiful children, and if you meet them you will see that my oldest looks exactly like me, but he has his Mother's smarts, my middle one and youngest get along really well, and I have notice that they both like and do some things that I do, like putting pepper on my french fries! So if you have children of your own, I hope that our kids can be the greatest of friends!
I have aspirations of working within Law Enforcement as a Queens Cowboy, but I am working full time right now to pay off my debt load from when I had gone to University of the Fraser Valley to study Criminology.....I hope this doesn't scare you away! I am not a super intellectual or socially awkward, I am....well...just me!
So What Am I Looking For?
I have a real weakness for women who practice yoga.....for real! there something very relaxing and spiritual about following a yoga routine, and as a people watcher, I have found it relaxing watching a person becoming centred with themselves, and I am thinking that I would like to try yoga for myself someday. I appreciate individuals who takes care of the temple of their body! And hopefully exercise is apart of your lifestyle. So in saying that, I find clubbing and drinking excessively very distasteful, so I am not looking for a meat market party type woman! (Warning....Rant Ahead!) Also, too all the self-center individuals on match.com, if I put myself out there and email you, and you are not interested, please have the courtesy to reply back! Rudeness is not sexy attribute! just though I'd let you know!
I enjoy the company of individuals who have brilliant minds, and can see the world without being self-centered. As for physical attributes...I sure you have many, I am not picky!
