So where to begin? :o) I’ve lived on Vancouver Island for 12 years moving here from the UK
Since moving here I’ve been in landscaping and construction starting my own custom cedar outdoor structure business in 2008.
And just at the moment I’m starting a new business in mobile marketing which is starting to take off very well.
I believe hard work is the key to success ~ although rest and play are important too. I know exactly where I’m going and how I’m going to get there. My glass is always half full ~ even if today is tough tomorrow brings another opportunity to make things work out and do it better.
I love to laugh and even better make others laugh usually at my own expense ~ hey I'm a Brit living in Canada ~ we come pre-programmed with a wicked sense of humour!
Would love to have a boat some day soon so hopefully could meet someone equally happy on the ocean waves!
I would like to travel more and see the world a little ~ I’ve been to Italy, France and Germany when I was younger but seem to have got a little stuck on Vancouver Island recently. It is beautiful but you have to get off this rock once in a while.
I would like to learn to cook better and to have someone appreciative to cook for ~ something about fun in the kitchen and an open bottle of red wine that lights my fire.
I have some good friends and feel it’s important you should have girlfriends too ~ I’m not into clingy 24/7 people who call 37 times a day, but then again I’d like to get a text that says �how’s your day going?’
I’m in pretty good physical shape as a result of my outdoor physical job, I’ve never smoked and don’t consider myself a redneck type. I drive a pick up but it’s not a huge ego-boosting power statement ~ I prefer to be subtle and understated, let my actions speak for me.
I’m interested in meeting someone who knows who she is and what she wants. You should be slender / slim not mega high maintenance where a broken finger nail results in a major meltdown. I don’t like false nails, too many piercings or tattoos but a few can look cool. I like a woman who wears a little classy jewelry ~ less is more somehow. :o)

Well ~ I've been told that I can be funny, warm, understanding ~ maybe a teeny bit stubborn but only when I'm sure as heck that I'm right.

I've never smoked (well one cigar when I was 20 ) ~ I thought it would make me look cool and attract the opposite sex, but the next morning when I woke with a mouth tasting like an ashtray , that was it with me and smoking.
I was born into farming so I love the countryside, but I like to be near a city too for convenience. If you want to run away to Hornby Island I'm not your man!
