I am an active woman which includes working out at the gym, practicing yoga 4 x weekly, cycling to work, that sort of thing. I keep swinging that golf club but for some reason I still suck at the game (oh well), maybe you could help me?? I do enjoy snow boarding but really miss the nice dry powder in the interior (Sun Peaks). I love walks / hikes, picnics, camping, being on or near water which is why I moved to the Island 4 years ago. I love good food, music and dancing (a lot). I may be in my 50s but feel like 30 (don't we all!!!). My fitness test said 45 so I guess that's ok...My kids of course are independent souls and I like to think that I am here with no baggage except for my travel luggage, (have passport and ready to use)!!! I consider myself as being kind to others, loving, intuitive, but I really try to avoid confrontations (I'll do anything to get around that, I'm not kidding), would just like to live my life positively, energetically, and smile and goof around as much as possible. I like to keep my house neat and tidy, that just works for me. I enjoy digging and playing in the dirt (it's called gardening) so my nails are short and non-polished. I am quite a social person and have many many friends. But, I also enjoy some solitude . I don't have to always be out and about. Sometimes, it is nice to just stay in and watch movies or read. I also like to paint when I have some time.
I recently took up my guitar playing again and I like to sing. Not saying I play or sing well.. just a beginner but I love music and dancing has been a passion all my life.
I prefer to exercise in a fashion where I don't feel like it is exercise ... kayaking , or bike riding. walking. Golf. Everything in moderation and I am not obsessive about anything.Variety is the key.
