I have a satisfying career to which I devote most weekdays but I jealously guard my weekends. I have my favourite breakfast spot that is a given at least one day a week. I try to support small local businesses rather than large chain stores. I search out markets and coffee shops. I hate shopping in general and will only go to a store for clothes or household items when it's absolutely necessary.
I like to be active but also enjoy time at home. I work with a personal trainer 2 days a week and am also getting back into yoga. At the beginning of 2011, I was working out at something 6 days a week, gaining muscle and feeling strong. Then I had a set back and lost all my muscle. It's been quite a journey. I try not to take anything for granted because you just never know what's around the corner. Since Sept/11, I've been coming back, regaining muscle and getting stronger. But it's not an overnight thing. However, I am not a quitter. I enjoy life.
I'd much rather watch sports than a reality show. I have played baseball and been a dragon boater. I seem to be evolving. I like to try new things. There is so much more to do and learn.
I never tire of nature. The beauty that God created. Sunsets, sunrises, mountains, oceans, the moon and the stars fascinate me. But I have found that I enjoy it more when shared with someone. Like we laugh longer and harder when with someone than when alone. I'm looking for someone who wants to share my life and his life.
