I like sports very much, so any girl that loves to scream until she is blue in the face at a Canucks game is alright with me!
What else you may ask? I am from Malaysia originally, but came here when I was young. I've been back a few times to visit family and what not. I am always interested in hearing about other people's travel experiences. So far I've been to London, South America, Asia, Mexico, and I even lived in Las Vegas one summer! Had to come back to escape the Mob.
Anyway, I'm looking for a nice, easygoing, level headed girl that likes to go out and have a good time, but can also stay in and have a good time. If you think you fit that description, it is a good chance that we could have a Match success story, and I heard there is a cash prize for that!

I work very hard, sometimes at two jobs, so I find myself wishing I got out more. I am a carpenter so I wear jeans almost every day so any excuse to throw on my suit I jump at. Two of my favorie things to do are ride my bike along the seawall in the summer and go skiing in the winter.

I work more than the average person but my job does offer flexibility (some people think that I never work). I am active but by no means a fitness freak. I'm more on the shy side when I first meet people, that changes very quickly though. I love to travel and hopefully will be able to do more of it in the near future.

Quirky, insightful and considerate are the three words I would use to describe myself. I believe in treating others how I'd like to be treated and will strike up conversation with strangers, open and hold the door for strangers and say please and thank you to demonstrate my good will. My friends describe me as "cheery" and a silly grin is never far away. My sense of humor ranges from goofy, witty one liners, sarcastic, and ear cringing crassness which I only share with my closest friends. I spend my free time reading, enjoying a good cup of coffee at local coffee houses, looking and coming up with possible e-business ideas and recently dedicating myself to exercising at least three times a week. That being said I do enjoy a good night out once a while with good company of friends where we can all laugh, catch up and enjoy some lively conversation.
Goals: I have an optimistic outlook on life and am willing to roll up the sleeves for the best possible outcome. I aspire to be an entrepreneur in the e-business world and am working to obtain a degree in Business Administration after having graduated from BCIT's marketing management program. However I believe success encompasses more than just financial freedom, by trying to be the best possible person I can be.
How I stand out: The fusion of East Asian Heritage and a North American upbringing combines values from both cultures into one neat package. I love independence, but respect the idea of unity. I value creativity and self expression but appreciate the need for structure and discipline. I believe in standing up for rights but also not to push ones values upon others. Although I have struggled with never fitting into either community perfectly while growing up, I know it has given me a unique perception on people and society and I'm better because of it.
What I'm looking for: Chemistry, physical attraction and mutual respect are the foundations for a successful relationship; and it would only exist when both parties willing to work together to make it happen. Having said that I have a soft spot for soft spoken girl next door types who are comfortable in T-shirt and jeans/yoga pants as well as little black dresses. If you're into random conversations, team effort home cooking, finding interesting hole in the wall restaurants and coffee houses, movie nights cuddling on the couch, nights out dancing way past midnight, intense debates about any topic under the sun, challenging or being challenged to be a better person, I would love to know you.

I'm a pretty active guy, I try to go to the gym, go for a swim or a bike ride every day after work. During the weekend, I try to fit in as many activities as possible include spending time with my friends and family.
I love what I do for a living so I'm the "work hard, play hard" type. I give it my all to do the best job I can and treat the ppl I work with the same way. I can be a bit of a workaholic sometimes, especially when I'm working on a project or file that I specially care about. I enjoy going to work to get things done and to hang out with my crew.
I think I'm generally a pretty nice guy. The way I see it, no point being upset and stressed out when you can just take a breath, let it go, and maybe even put a smile on another person's face! Also, life is short, what's the point making another enemy when you can make another friend? But don't get me wrong, if anyone messes with my family, friends, or my crew... I will try to do something about it!
I'm a shy and quiet person in general... I absolutely LOVE to travel. I recently got back from a trip around South America! I traveled with friends up the coast of Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil, then I traveled solo for some surfing, soul searching and Archaeology up the west coast from Southern Chile through Bolivia to Peru... Absolutely amazing!!! Now I'm in the process of planning a trip to visit friends in Qatar and the UAE early next year.
