I smile at everybody, even strangers and most people would describe me as a happy-go-lucky person that is always full of ideas. But I consider myself to be quite imaginative, honorable and always thinking.
People have also told me that I'd make a good dad, probably because of my packed lunches and the sandwiches in folded wax paper, but also because I tell people to settle down when they use bad language. And although kids aren't in my immediate plans, if I am single when I am 40 I may adopt, or rent a dog. But I may just moonwalk to the tropics and get myself some steel drums.
I disappear when people bicker and complain. Gossip is brutal. My angle on everything is that things are simple and I like to keep it that way.
When it comes to relationships, I'd rather be single than waste my time with someone that doesn't excite me.

I like the Super Mario Bros, tennis, hockey, Canucks and even though my friends say I'm one of those people that is good at everything I'm willing to admit that I'm horrible at baseball but play it anyway.

So far, I'm really enjoying Vancouver and have had a lot of fun exploring the city and area. I love the outdoors and travelling and I'm always planning my next adventure, whether that is a weekend get-away or a trip half way around the world. Some of my favourite activities are hiking, rugby, canoeing and skiing and I've also picked up nature photography as a hobby. On the weekends you can often find me playing rugby or going out to Whistler to hike or ski. Travelling has always excited me and I've seen a lot of North America and Europe. I just got back from a trip to Chile and had a great time. I definitely plan to explore more of South America.
I'm the type of person who is just as comfortable at a classy restaurant as I am cooking a meal on a campfire. I have a rewarding career and I enjoy my job and care about the work I do, but I also believe in work-life balance and know how to set limits. Though I'm not the most artistic person (I dabble in music and photography), I do appreciate the arts and I enjoy going to exhibits or the symphony. I'm sure I would enjoy them even more with the right person to go with.

Travel, surprises, music, dancing, sports, books, last minute plans, open mind, photography, museum, craziness, spontaneity, going out (but also staying in), sharing, simplicity, respect, flip flops (yes, the sandals), down to earth (however fantasy is also very important), people, casual, word, news, work, sense of humor about yourself, awareness.
And yet another short list of things that I’m not really fond of:
- Cars (can’t tell why I put this one first…)
- Self-centered people (but, hey… Have you already heard anybody saying “yes, yes, I am definitely self-centered.” So this one doesn’t really count!!)
- TV (even if I like one or two shows and some movies)
- Excessive work out / complete body addiction
- Superficial people (but same problem as #2…)
