I'm a self educated man, I've been called quite intelligent by others, but that never went to my head, nor am I arrogant (well maybe just a little bit :) I'm also a man of subtle humility, you'll see this when I make fun of myself just to get a laugh, after all the road to enlightenment is paved in humility. I am a natural storyteller to go along with my talent for telling jokes, however it's not my doing, I inherited that from my Dad. I also have a thirst for knowledge, I'm a good listener and I've learned to look at things from other people's point of view. I love to have fun inside or outdoors and am easily adaptable to new ideas and like trying new things; like I just tried Yoga and discovered it's allot harder than I thought, I think I'll go back.
One unique hobby I have is that I can perform many accents that I picked up along the way in my travels. I know way too many jokes for my own good, they help with punchlines, but I do practice some tactful discretion. Many of my passions and professional ambitions are found in the literary world, I'm a man with many hats, I've even been called an aficionado.
I make it a point of staying fit, I can be found doing long distance cycling, crashing the net on the ice and hitting softballs over the fence! If I'm not enjoying a sport I like to go to the gym, laps in the pool or roller blading. I do practice what I preach, I didn't just write that to impress anyone except do it for myself, but looking and feeling good are important to me. I also play a little golf and not so much tennis any more but I can still whack that little yellow ball around the court.
I've got a few skills that come in handy, I used to be a chef's apprentice once upon a time, so don't be surprised if I'm a little arrogant in my apron and white puffy chef's hat. I do have a few other skills, but I can't give away all my A Material right away ;)
I cherish my family, but they're scattered throughout the continent, so a short plane ride gets me to travel to more exotic places to see the, and family is always a good excuse to travel is it not? Also loved my time in Europe, travel makes us all wiser, at least that's what I learned from it. I once heard someone say that "Backpacking through Europe isn't a vacation, it's an adventure!"

I have been told that I am funny, highly energetic, and am very intense with what I pursue. I really enjoy the outdoors, fishing is my main way to relax and take a break. I also enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking and I even used to race cars.

I often find myself attracted to the 'the girl next door' type. I appreciate a woman who is comfortable with no make up, no fancy nails, and a 'what you see is what you get' type of attitude ...you know what I mean? But getting all dressed up and have a good night out is fun too!
There is also a part of me that is attracted to women with some great art on their bodies ...i have a fair amount of ink myself.

Not that I don't like some of that stuff (not the texting, tattoos, shirtless pic part, I was making fun!) but there's more than that to me. I am a bit of a traditional guy and I enjoy girls being girls. I am not a macho guy, but I am a bit of mans man in many aspects and I like to do guy stuff. I am family oriented, I'm social and do like to go out, but I also enjoy my time at home some evenings spending quality time with the couch. I like my living space to be a home, aesthetically pleasing and well maintained, which has me fixing things and doing yard work on the weekends (yes ladies you read correctly, I can operate tools and I do get off the couch to work around the house). If you are like me, then you share the same views on family time, in that overloaded work weeks aren't compatible with relationships and a family. And raising children should be done by the parents,not by a nanny or day care.
