I am definitely a spring/summer girl. I don't like being in the snow all that much. I think it's beautiful and love to look at it but if you're a snow lover I'll head to the chalet and sit by the fireplace with a book while you go out and enjoy your sport.
I love hiking, walking/biking the sea wall and indoor rock climbing. When I travel places I want to see everything there is to offer. I'm not the type to sit on the beach with a cold drink in my had and watch the world go by. I don't mind some down time here and there but I'd like to try everything a place/culture has to offer while I'm there.

Date a soulmate from British Columbia, Canada. I was born and raised in North Vancouver, but just spent the last 5 years living in California. I hated the lack of tree's and seasons, so now I'm back home trying to figure out where to go from here. I'm the type of person who needs to go out into the world and explore. Back in 2007 I went on a 3 month backpacking trip to Central America on a whim and it was the best time of my life. Being in another Country where you don't speak the language can be a challenge, so it was a good thing I took acting in High School. I'm always up for a good adventure, and while we were there we went "white water rafting" in Costa Rica. I use the term white water rafting loosely since it was the dry season and we pretty much coasted down the river. Still a ton of fun though! Then in Nicaragua we went volcano boarding on little wooden sled type things in orange blue jumpsuits so we looked like escaped convicts. Finally in Guatemala we went through underground bat caves where we had to half walk/swim with a candle in one hand. Then we had to climb up rock walls with water cascading down into our face, and finally we had to jump down a man size hole to the cave below plunging into the murky waters sans candle. I of course went first, since apparently everyone else lost their voice.
Being in the bat cave was the most exhilarating thing I've done so far and I can't wait to do it again!
I'm not a girly girl, so if that's what you're looking for, keep moving on. However, when the occasion calls for it, I do clean up rather nicely. My Father has been in construction his whole life and really wanted a boy but ended up with 3 girls, so needless to say, I can find my way around a tool box. I've learned over the years that it's very hard to find a man that's good with his hands. Take that as you will. Usually in relationships I'm the handyman, and while I wouldn't trade my skills for anything, it'd be nice to have a partner equally as handy. Sometimes a girl just wants to be a girl, ya know?
The type of guy I'm interested in is self sufficient. He doesn't need a woman to survive, but rather to enjoy her company. He's not totally helpless with home repairs or building projects. Loves animals and being outdoors and has a thirst for adventure. Kids are a must for me, but not in the near future so settle down boys. Smokers are a deal breaker however. Hate it. Tattoo's are a plus, but not tattoo's that are done just to look cool. There needs to be some kind of deeper meaning behind it. If you don't have any tattoo's I promise I wont hold it against you. And I love rugged men. Scruff is gooooood. I've never been partial to pretty boys. They scare me.
At this point in time I'm not looking for a serious commitment; as I just got out of one, but rather to meet new people, make friends and simply enjoy life.
