I am a small business owner in the South Okanagan, I love the outdoors and generally spend most of my free time playing in the area I call home. I love to mtn bike, snowboard, surf, hunt, fish, dirtbike, swim, float rivers etc basically anything that gets me outside. That being said I also enjoy spending quality time at home watching movies or reading anything that catches my eye.
I have travelled extensively through the Caribbean, Europe, Australia, South America and just returned from a month in Mexico. I love to travel and see the world and it is something that I want to continue to do for the rest of my life. I cannot discuss the latest television program,what's happening in People magazine or what was discussed on Oprah. Watching thousands of eagles on the Chilkat takes precedence over couch potato entertainment any day of the week.
Like the present mobile life. Bought a large motor home,carries bike, cameras and lets me take my time.Basically I've been traveling for the last four years.This year,its off to Alaska and the territories Some days that small mountain lake requires more than just a quick stop.Tried things that when I was younger and in more of a hurry,just didn't interest me.Ran into people who love their jobs,love their hobbies,love where they live.The enthusiasm is contagious.Now I have fun doing things that other peoples enthusiasm said I should try.Some I'm actually good at and some I'm not.

At one time owned an antiquarian bookstore,set it up the way I wanted bookstores to be when I was younger.Free coffee,lots of nooks to read,no pressure to buy Was told I was doing it the wrong way,should be more professional.Made a lot of money at sale,lots of friends while I owned it.Met a lot of people who thought they'd like to own one but never did anything with that thought.
I've been a paramedic,volunteer firefighter,ERT,ski patrol,search and rescue,built my own houses,had horses,so pretty well able to cope with most things
I'm terrible at being an older person,still finding that Iife was given to experience and not to remember as something in the past.
In spite of profile,I do own suits,can tie a double Windsor and even will wear matching socks on special occasions.
