Now that I have moved to the South Okanagan I want to concentrate on getting more out of life. In truth I enjoy the simple things, an evening out as much as an evening in, from five star restaurants (not thinking this will hapen too much here) to a BBQ on the deck. I keep fit but not obsessed (use to compete in triathlons) but now if I want that piece of pie I'll have some (no sense letting it go to waste). Everything in moderation. With the New Year comes new goals.

I've been told that you can spend years talking with a person and never really know them but spend an hour of play/sport and you will learn the true person.

I have enjoyed cruises and some travel to southern climes in the past. I'm thinking it is time to make time to do more traveling but don't like the idea of traveling alone.
I enjoy fine dining with a glass or two of wine as well as barbecued hamburgers and a beer. I also know my way around the kitchen and can put together a decent meal. Heck, I'd even light some candles and put flowers on the table. I like a glass of good single malt scotch now and then and a few beers with friends.
I have a quirky sense of humour which some get and some don't get. I like to watch comedies and will watch some of the classics over and over again.
I have been actively involved in community organizations in the past and have been involved in community theatre for about five years, on stage, behind the curtains and in an administrative role. I enjoy watching professional and amateur theatre, music concerts, and even some classical stuff.
