Date someone special from Osoyoos, Canada. I think my friends would describe me as pretty funny and positive! I like to laugh and I like to make others laugh as well. I am very much a "people person" which has come in handy as I have always held positions where I worked with the public. I am smart, capable, and seem to be someone to whom people turn to for advice, or a shoulder to lean on. While I love being around my family and friends I also like to have some "alone time" where I can indulge my passion for reading, photography, scrap-booking, genealogy and gardening. Luckily I like entertaining because living in the Okanagan seems to equate to having a lot of company! I have old fashioned values and enjoy looking after my family and guests and making them feel comfortable in my home. At this point in my life I want to make sure I keep pushing myself out of my comfort zone and trying new things. Hence Match.com - as life really is too short to sit back and be a "woulda-coulda-shoulda". I am not into the "party" scene - been there done that back in my 20's when doing so didn't make me look ridiculous. My idea of a good time would be more along the lines of a nice dinner out with a good bottle of wine and good conversation. Sharing that bottle while listening to the waves break along the shore, feeling the tropical breezes blowing in off the ocean and discussing the days adventures with someone you care about would be a little touch of heaven. So here I am putting myself "out there" - it feels pretty weird but you never know what might happen...........................
