Date single man from Canada. Looking to meet new people and make some new friends as much as anything else. I may be slow to warm up to some people but once I get to know someone I'm comfortable talking about pretty much anything. People often feel the same way towards me, a lot of times I have people tell me things that I'm completely shocked they would tell anyone(sometimes its even more then I really want to know about them haha). I'm a bit of a dare devil, I'll try almost anything once, you only live once I figure. I'm the kind of person that if I have to hear bad news I want it right now so I can figure out how to fix things, or if they can't be fixed get over it and on with life. In general I try to live life by my own values and what makes me happy. What are those you may wonder? Belief in myself and my abilities and that I'm able to accomplish anything I really want to. So I tend to trust my own judgment and make up my mind on things for myself, even though the decisions I come to aren't always the norm, or what others expect me to do. I'm fiercely loyal and protective of people I'm close to, particularly women, its just the way I am.
I love learning and experiencing new things. Being challenged and working towards a goal keeps me interested. I really enjoy exercising(for lack of a better word), seriously I do, but I do go through lulls when its difficult to find the time or the place to be active. I've always been athletic though I have slowed down some in the last couple years due to injury, I'm working on getting back into it though. What's going on in the world and specifically what's happening closer to home are things I try to keep up on. I enjoy talking about what's going on around us, not debating so much, but hearing others view points and feelings on all sorts of subjects. Making people laugh is one of my main goals whenever I open my mouth, so I'm usually goofy and joking more often them I'm serious. Some people have this crazy notion that I have a dirty mind because of some of my jokes, I have no idea where they got that idea, but be forewarned hehe.
I can't say exactly what I'm looking for. There are all sorts of things that make women attractive to me, and certainly not all are physical. Mostly I'm looking for someone I enjoy being around, have a good time with, think of as a very close friend and is beautiful to me. Someone I feel comfortable talking to and they feel comfortable talking to me about anything is very important. That's all down the road though so to start I'd like to meet some new people and see what happens.
