I live on a small island (salt spring), not a lot of people here my age - so like to escape "off island" (victoria, vancouver island...) regularly. Most of the people on this site that are closest to me are from Victoria and Vancouver Island, I love Victoria and make a weekly trips there so don't be deterred. I liked growing up on Salt Sping Island because everybody knows everybody and people look out for one another but... living on a small island in the winter = lack of girls Seriously it's one giant sausage-fest over here haha. I do have a good group of friends and a good job here though and like just taking it easy.
I'm trying to think of something funny to say but writing in my sense of humour makes me sound like a idiot... so if you want to know what kind of stuff makes my laugh, look up "everything is amazing and nobody's happy" on youtube (it's a Louis CK appearance on Conan).
I'm looking for an laid back girl that is easy to talk to. I'm not a materialistic guy and I'd like to meet a girl with the same easy going outlook. I like to go out and have a good time but I also like just staying in and watching a good movie. I'd like a girl that can hold a good conversation.... easy going, cute, and has something to say....

Meet a boy from British Columbia, Canada. Okay so I've never been really good at trying to describe myself, I guess I'm still learning everyday who I am. But I'll give it my best shot.
My friends would describe me as a happy go lucky kinda guy, the "nice guy",smart and kinda nerdy, always down to make someone laugh, and I'm a pretty solid friend through thick and thin. My family is really important to me, they have made me who I am today. I grew up pretty chubby, big computer geek lol, but I started taking care of my body and confidence came along with it. I love adventures, walking around town, seeing and trying new things. I am pretty darn active, and I love taking care of my body, that means eating well and exercise; I figure its a big part of my lifestyle so why not mention it. Most people would tell you I have a big heart, and I'm kind of a hopeless romantic, and a gentleman to the core. Cant stand people who drink all the time, or do nothing but party. I am pretty shy, and have had my heart smashed a couple of times; so be patient and I'll warm up for sure.
What am I looking for?? I truly have no idea, I thought I really did... but here are some basic requirements. Honest, Big heart, not a party animal, loyal, goal oriented, dreamer and classy. That's all lol... I know that there is someone out there for everyone, I haven't found her yet; but when I do I'll know.
