- academic guy who recently graduated from university with a Master of Arts degree in Political Science / International Relations
- slowly getting established in the post-graduation working world at the entry level, and working hard to try to make my professional future almost as bright as my recent academic past
- huge hockey fan and a die-hard supporter of the Vancouver Canucks
- enjoy watching other sports as well and exercising, ideally by going to the gym, whenever my busy schedule allows for it
- interested in politics (especially BC provincial government and Canadian federal government), news, and current events
- shy and quiet around new people, but can become as talkative as anyone else once I get to know people
- not flirty and definitely not someone who is going to be a "player" hooking up with random women (ie. not a clubbing "bar star")
- not overly materialistic and not a high-rolling free spender. In other words, I don't need the high life with a big mansion, sports car, eating at fancy five-star restaurants while sipping expensive champagne. I only really need the basic essentials of life - with a few perks and highlights, of course - and would rather spend the night cuddling with a special lady, enjoying the outdoors, or relaxing with friends
Who am I looking for?

- a woman who is willing to give me time and space when needed, especially at first when we are still getting to know each other. I can be busy at times, and might not always be able to give you all of the time and attention that you crave, but it is not permanent and I will still always make you feel cherished and appreciated
- a woman who is also not overly materialistic and values spending time together more than where we can go and what we can do

- also not planning on having kids, at least not right away and probably not at all (although dogs can still be just like our kids)
- also a sports fan, and ideally also a hockey fan; however, if not, at least willing to still let me watch games and follow my sports passion (the compromise can be that I will also go somewhere, watch, or do something that you enjoy more too)

- well, i'm just about to move to a new city, so hopefully new and exciting!
What are the things in life you're most passionate about?
- music's my biggest passion in life - i play it, study it, listen to it obsessively, write it. next to that, i love being outside...hiking, camping, snowboarding, whatever :)
