I am a passionate, adventurous and independent gal (yes, stubborn too) with an amazing 4 year old who is my world, makes me laugh everyday and keeps me on my toes.
I have a successful career, and my job allows me to get outside and play in one of the most beautiful places in the world. My weeks tend to be pretty scheduled and hectic (commute, daycare, family routine) with very little free time. Weekends are reserved for play which in the summer includes hiking, mtn biking, camping, kayaking, music festivals, BBQs and days at the lake. In the winter I love to snowboard and snowshoe and hot yoga keeps me happy. I'd like to learn how to stand up paddle board and try rock climbing this summer, ice climb this winter and finally catch a wave surfing next spring.
I love to cook for other people and impromptu dinner parties, and BBQs are always fun. I also love to explore new restuarants and cafes in the city whenever I can. Some of my favorites include Thai, sushi and a good steak, and I will never turn down brunch!
I've traveled, but not enough, and would definitely like to experience somewhere new each year. A surf/yoga camp in Costa Rica or Nicaragua is in the plans for 2012. I'm a big fan of road trips and can't get enough of Tofino, the Washington coast, Oregon and California.
