A little about myself: I describe myself as HIP – Honest, Intimate, Passionate. I am an artistic individual who sees art in everything. I am good with my hands. I love to make fresh bread, build furniture, and give massage. I am a former Executive Chef so I know how to cook. I am an adventurer. I love to explore unknown places both near and far. And if I am in a place that is already known, I like to make believe I am the first person to ever step foot there. On that note, I am confident that I have been the first person to step foot on many of the places I have been. I love the desert, hiking amongst the old, tall Saguaro cactus. I love Oregon, hiking amidst the old pine trees. And I love the West Coast, walking on the beaches or hiking under giant old cedar trees.
I am a healthy 46 year old. Healthy both physically and emotionally. I have worked a lot on myself in life. I know who I am and what I want. With that said, I actually do not want a lot. One of my life's philosophies is " Invest a Lot on a Little". What that means is that I invest a lot of time, energy and passion on a few things. I have a good family, a few good friends and I am looking to develop a relationship with one excellent woman.
As for the relationship side, I know how to love and be loved. I have had one true love in my life and I would like to find another. I would like to meet someone who I connect with on an emotional and physical level. Someone who also loves adventure. Someone who is passionate, fun and funny. Healthy, fit and happy.

I am a hard working, animal loving,compassionate, easy going, creative, giving person who likes to take a lazy sunday( when I get one!) with a coffee/Baileys , a good hike and movie on the couch that evening . I love kids but don't have any of my own. I'm a vegetarian but won't hold that against you! I love to eat but really stink at cooking( I can however make a killer Lasagne- I'm told) will definetly do the dishes if you cook! My family is very important to me but they all live out of province. I own and operate my own company and that keeps me fairly busy during the spring through fall but we don't work weekends (usually!) I am not a drama queen or a princess and certainly not looking for or have time for a drama king or anyone with more than a carry on for baggage !! I grew up all over the world but love BC and all it has to offer.

I am spontaneous, outgoing. I love weekend newspapers, comedy, my dog (even when he's bad!) and to see/experience new things and places. I haven't travelled a lot in the past but am trying to make up for that now. I recently returned from my first overseas trip which included Paris, Lisbon, Casablanca, Marrakech and London - to say I was excited is an understatement! The travel bug has really bit me - I can't wait to see more of the world. Until this trip I've kept my vacations to the tropical, beach type - Maui, Cuba, and Mexico and my annual trip "home" to Nova Scotia. I enjoy meeting new people which comes in handy with my job and I'm one of the lucky ones - I love my job. I enjoy nights out for dinner, live music, dinner party with friends, chilling at home, heading out on long walk with my dog or pretending I'm the next great home chef. If you are a great cook - that's fantastic, I'll offer to clean up in exchange for some lessons?!!?
To sum it up: I have a pretty great life and just missing that someone to share it with.
