I'm an easy going, almost always happy kind of guy. I'm a slightly, but not fully, possessed runner. I like to keep myself in "Half Marathon" shape at all times. This allows me to be in "let's go out for good food " shape at all times too!! I have a great sense of humour and enjoy being with happy, fun, interesting people. I've been involved in amateur Musical Theatre productions off and on over many years.
In a relationship I am much better at diffusing tension than creating it. I don't think that life is too short for wasting time being unhappy I think that being unhappy for more than 20 minutes is just a plain waste of time even if life went on forever!

From what I can understand,the great prize in life is the ability to love.To love life,live it to it's fullest,to love oneself with some degree of humility,love family,because if we can't do this,what chance do we have to love friends,aquaintances even strangers where a glance or a smile or a nod can make the difference in their day.
So does it matter what we have done if what we do now is hardly more than an attempt to keep up a good standing in society,secure ourselves between comfortable walls,or even to expend all our energy to survive.
In my case I was a competitive runner for 25 years,worked in the bush for 10,have worked on Vancouver's film sets for another 10,was with a partner for 22 have two children,have only flirted with college and university courses,have owned a house and land,worked on oil rigs,worked in the arctic,salesman,retail...And where am I now?I stiil work on movie sets providing first aid and food to the crews,live in an apt.own 2 acres of raw land on an island,look after my 2 children when they visit,walk the dog,experiment with music and writing,watch movies and documentaries,visit cafes,maintain friendships,review my aviation books,contemplate deeply every morning for 20 minutes,record my dreams,dream of travel,and an entrepreneurial existence.This is a time of great challenge in a swiftly changing world.It is a time for innovation.I study health and healing and fitness including a biofeedback technology which I own.I am fascinated by inventions and work on a few ideas.But really,at the end of a day I am glad to have had a few good laughs and a feeling that life will be an adventure for the next 30 or 40 years.
Who would you be that could put up with any of this?It comes down to attraction doesn't it?But I would add that life or it's Grace will only put two to work if they have heart and a sense of adventure.Then,the peace and security and affection and strength that can be gained within a home;are a certainty!
