This job allows me to see all the different types of people in Vancouver. Can't deny that there are many different types of personalities out there and its neat to see. When I'm not in the clinic working, then you'll see me at a few of my favourite hot spots. One of them being the seawall. Its beautiful there! I love to run along the waters and take in the fresh air! Also, I like to sit at a coffee shop and just read and enjoy the time alone. Cooking is a huge passion of mine. Growing up in Vancouver I love the seawall, stanley park and the beaches that you get to enjoy for 2 weeks of the year. I absolutely adore sushi and probably know every good sushi place there is in vancouver. Im a total foodie. I'll try anything. I have a list of restaurants that I want to try. In my spare time I'll be doing yoga, watching movies, or planning a getaway. Oh and I can spend hours and hours in Chapters.
I am very big in volunteering, and believe in giving back and making a difference. I've volunteered in Kenya as a teacher for 6 weeks, and just did this amazing 5 days campaign where I slept outside UBC bookstore for 5 days with nothing more than a pillow and sleeping bag to raise money and awareness for the homeless youth. My dream would be to one day have enough money that I can open a school or live in Africa and make a lasting impact.
