Well....this online scene is a whole new thing for me and I'm still unsure about how I feel about it. After giving it a lot of thought and seeing as though I very rarely get out I figure that I may as well face this unknown and take a chance. I (and you) never know...
Why don't I get out? I am a single mamma and have been from the get go. For the past five years I have also been a full time student and I have just completed my undergrad degree in Child and Youth Care. Basically, after focusing primarily on my son and my education for the past five years I now desire to turn some focus inward and outward toward exploring potential connections!
What lights me up? My son (of course). Being in nature. Music........jazz, hip hop, reggae, folk .....and anything with a good beat or a little bit of ambiance :). Staying healthy, and the feeling that I get after working out. Shiraz. Music. Appreciating movies. Pondering and feeling glimpses of interconnectedness. Dancing barefoot in the grass under the stars (It's been a long time). Sustainability. Traveling to foreign countries. Sunshine. Beaches :) Family. I love walks in the forest, enjoy a good ol pint at the neighborhood pub coupled with some lively conversation, and enjoy simply kicking back with a movie:)
Why am I unique? Well....because I am... as we all are. I am social (although with a shy edge)... yet not afraid of spending months in a cabin in the forest by myself with no electricity nor running water. I am as interested in being thrown smack dab in the middle of NYC as I am in being dropped onto a boat access only beach on the wild west coast. I have an appreciation for the diversity, cultures and excitement of the big city but carry the heart of a small town girl who wishes to live on a lovely piece of land and grow all my own food. I am diverse.

First off, I want to be treated like a princess. I have been stuck with the type that don't know what a princess is, and NOW I am sooooo ready for that special gentleman to walk into my life and treat me the way I should be!!!
No whiners, or no mama's boys need apply....I need a strong man, not just physically but emotionally and mentally as well! Just need to be around people who are emotionally stable...but that doesn't mean that I don't think that emotions need to stuffed down, no, that is not true.
