fascinating world that we live in. Now that I am retired, life continues to open new doors and I find myself engulfed in a lifestyle that is simplified, serene, and extremely flexible. For the last two years I have actually been living and traveling throughout Thailand and Indonesia (mainly Bali) and periodically doing volunteer work with a dental foundation as well as teaching English. Prior to retiring, I spent 20 years (on-and-off) in the northwest part of the USA/southern BC (I have dual citizenship) and love the outdoor life including sailing, hiking, Xcountry skiing, snowshoeing,and photography. Yes, I miss the tropics but there are adventures here just waiting to happen and I am looking for someone to share them with.
I am very adventurous and physically active and in the last few years have quadbiked in Namibia, bungeed in South Africa, kayaked in New Zealand, trekked the headhunter jungle trails and climbed Mount Kinabalu in Borneo, spent 6 weeks at a Kung Fu training academy in China, and slipped around in the mud in the hills of Northern Thailand.
So what kind of man would I enjoy spending time with? Obviously I would prefer someone who enjoys the outdoors and is active, but like the majority of ladies out there I love a romantic dinner over candlelight, a glass of wine and cuddle in front of the fireplace, a walk on the beach, etc. Who wouldn't? But first, to make all those adventures memorable I want to be with someone who is passionate about life and all that it entails, secure with himself and what he wants in life, and perhaps most importantly, truthful and candid about his feelings.
