I'm a pretty active person, generally on the go, but I also know how to relax with a book and a cup of tea, working at the potter's wheel, or doing some yoga. My friends seem to think that I am quite energetic, and perhaps a bit of an environmental nut.
My kids, especially my oldest son, can always make me smile. So can conversations with my friends.
I'm very grateful for family, friends, and health, and would like to meet someone who shares those values.
I can get quite passionate about social justice and environmental issues, and tend to be involved with groups that are trying to change things for the better, so it would be great to connect with another activist.
Having read a lot and travelled in other countries, I consider myself to be very lucky to have been born in the 20th century in such a beautiful part of the world as BC, but I realize that we baby boomers need to change our ways or future generations will be in serious trouble.
I feel that I should share my good fortune with others in any way I can. Life is more fun when you're involved with positive change, but it would be even better doing things with someone else!
