3. At home in the kitchen - I love cooking (especially for others and with others) and I enjoy eating! Nothing better than a slow, lazy dinner with a bottle of wine, some good music and some amazing company - especially if you've made it yourself!!
4. A mediocre singer - I play a mean, mediocre guitar ... need some accompaniment - especially if we're camping and less than (very) drunk!
5. Gifted in conversation - you don't have to be a toastmaster's graduate, but you should be able to hold up your end of a good conversation, debate or fight!
6. Comedic/funny - hey ... who doesn't enjoy a good sense of humour and a few laughs?!?!
7. Ready to go out and do things! - Ie. Don''t stay home all the time! Not every trip has to be overseas or in a plane. Can go to Corydon and have drinks on a patio, hit the forks for a walk and ice cream, head south to Fargo for the weekend, drive to St. Laurent for ??? Hmm, now what the heck is IN St. Laurent? Perhaps we'll find out ...
8. A warm hearted, warm spirited, warm bodied, warm ... everythinged!! - Not into cold fish! (or cold women) Enjoy life - be friendly, personable, open .... don't be shy! Who knows??!!
9. Open and honest ... at all times ... period.

. I have not been in the dating world in years and when I was online dating was not even an option. I have taken most of the last year to get my life and my son's back in order and to a normal state and feel that now I am ready to look for the girl of my dreams. Not that I have a photo of her in my head. Just that I know what I am looking for in a partner.
As for me, I am a romantic at heart. I love bringing home flowers, going out on dates to dinner and a movie and walks in the park hand in hand. The woman I am with would always know that they are very important to me. Spending time with loved ones is very important to me. Whether it is family, friends or especially my partner, time spent with them is time well spent.
I enjoy gardening, reading, watching movies, cycling, walks/hiking, time with my son, going out with friends and spending time with family. I am a quiet guy but that is only until you get to know me and I know you. I can be a bit shy at first but once the conversation gets going with someone new I open up quickly and my true warm, funny side shows through.
My social life is somewhat limited as I have an 8 year old son that I need to spend time with. I do have a couple regular sitters that are good about being available to sit for me quite often. A pet peeve is always the friends that think I can just go somewhere spur of the moment. A partner of mine would have to understand that for the next few years there will be times where a date could mean just coming over and watching a movie at my place. Not that that would be a bad thing. Just sometimes choices for dates would be limited.
I enjoy travelling and would like to do more. I loved Vegas and want to go back often. I would also like to travel to sunspots when it is cold here and my childhood dream has always been to go to Australia. And it will happen some day soon. In the summer my son and I travel to the lake and make a road trip to somewhere that interests us both. Last year was to Alberta and the mountains/dino parks. We both had a great time together.
What am I looking for in a relationship? I think I have lived long enough to know what I am looking for in a woman. I want to find someone that has a great sense of humor, is happy go lucky, enjoys the outdoors, and has a genuine positive outlook on life. My interest is in finding someone to spend the rest of my life with that has similar interests to me. I am looking for someone to fall in love with and hopefully some day marry.

Although I lead a pretty quiet laid back life style, by no means am I a couch potato, I do have many interests and pursuits. My life is filled with amazing everyday thrills and spills. which I get to exploit on stage. I have a great sense of humor and love being on stage and not in the crowd, if that makes any sense.

With winter around the corner there is no way I’m reading under a tree. Inside by the fireplace suits me just fine. I’ll go skiing, skating or tobogganing...if we go tobogganing, you can bet I’ll be the first down the hill, stand-up, grab my butt and say, “I’m getting too old for this...this time let’s see how high we can go on that bigger jump!”...and the cycle repeats itself.
