Which brings me to being here....I find that my career is not permitting me to have the social life that I want....and well perhaps this small town isn't either but that's not the point really... :) Anyway to talk about oneself is difficult I think but I will try and tell you who I am.
I'm an LPN by trade and I just graduated this April. It was the most amazing accomplishment in my life. It was 15 months of being dedicated to my textbooks...crying daily that I couldn't do this it was too hard....but I put one foot before the other and kept going and before long there I sat before my family accepting my certificate....it was amazing.
I would describe myself as loving, caring, affectionate and a very sweet girl.....as well as stubborn, strong willed and well.....perhaps a little frustrating at times :P But it's only because my life experiences have taught me to fight for what I want and need and to never, ever give up!
I'm the mother of one little girl who is 4 and the joy of my life. She wasn't planned but perhaps the most amazing surprise of my life. We have been on our own from the get go and eventhough it was hard it made me stronger and better and I strived to give her everything she needed. My parents and I are very close and they live just four blocks from my home and Pressley sees them daily and has a tremdous bond with her Grandpa....but then I have the very same done with my Dad so who can blame her :)
So many times I have been asked, "Carmen what are you looking for?" And I think and think and think......hmmm.....what am I truly looking for and what keeps coming to my mind is.....Honest, just honest....oh how I want someone who's honest.....I found that in times past something was always kept from me and it ended in disaster....so Yes, Honesty as well as independant, a hard worker, and of course a charmer.... :) I want a man who's good at the romance that a partnership needs and loves to show the lady in his life that he really loves her....someone who has a great sense of humor and really loves to laugh......
