I'm kinda shy at first, but warm up to people quickly. I love animals, but am definitely a dog person. I do like going out and trying new things, but I'm also a huge fan of spending time at home and relaxing. I love watching movies and documentaries as I'm all about the useless information and fun facts. I like travelling, even if it's just to the province over, but I wish I hade more time and money to go a little more abroad. I am trying to make at least one big trip a year (Helloooo Vegas). I love fishing, even when I'm not catching anything.I love camping in all regards from doing it with complete luxury to roughing it. I love motorcycles of all types and just going for a ride to clear my head after "one of those days". I'm into guns and shooting, but have never been hunting. I would like to go, but finding the time and someone else to go with who has the same schedule has proven to be difficult. I like to stay in shape, but I don't let fitness and health run my life. I like to relax on my time off and enjoy food which may be delicious, yet slightly unhealthy. I will always try anything twice, and am always into doing new things which may prove to be fun (check out the pocket bike) but have developed a smidgen of common sense over the years.
I'm not into quick flings, as they are never just that. I love kids, but am not ready to instantly take over as a father figure. I would have no problem being that special person in someone's life, but I want to make sure that I would fit into that role. I like taking things comfortably slow, as anything worth doing is worth investing the time into.

Good looking women tend to also have that effect on me. I am most proud of my excelling career in the Canadian Armed Forces and that I quit smoking for almost two years now. I am very grateful that I am healthy and have never lost anyone very close to me due to a death.
