I consider my self a down to earth guy who wants to laugh,smile and to enjoy life to the fullest; I am an avid outdoors person who loves the outdoors and breath the fresh air.I love to travel and just completed a 4 month trip(with some backpacking ) to New Zealand ,Australia ,and China. I also enjoy the outdoor exercise (running .cycling -cross country skiiing )and an avid hunter and salmon fisherman.I still have a sense of adventure and subsequently Scuba dive, down hill ski ,canoe and other moderately risky adventures..
As for accomlishments : I am the proud father of 4 fine sons who have all left the nest and I have one grandson who I adore
Socially I like to go out to dinner, dance ,or even a movie..Equally I like to entertain in my own home . or to have some family and friends in for a simple game of cards or a sing song
Laughter -I enjoy someone who can tell a good joke -however it is not my specaility.In our family we often get together at our Family home to sing ,play music instruments. and just plain Party --.I.Iike most music ,especillly Irish and the 60's . Oh yes I can even laugh at myself.
In a relationship I"m looking for someone to share my life with and to enjoy some of the things that I do. ,especially the desire to travel and to enjoy the great outdoors. What am i pasionate about? for me it is --Enjoying the good things in life-- hiking in some untravelled location .and seeing as many of the natural and man -made wonders of the world.I am also slightly passionate about looking after my health through moderately healthy eating and exercise
I have lived most of my life in Nfld with the exception of 7 years in Belize ,Central America.and consequently I have travelled moderately but there is more to do hopefully and preferable with a special person to share the excitement
Although i have set my roots in Newfoundland ,my sons have all moved away to work and make a life for themselves .so relocating to some other location would not be deal breaker if I met the right lady to share my like as I 'am still very active and have a life ot live
my zest for life is characterized by sponaniety and degreee of unpredectability.My travel bucket list is to see the 7 man made and as many of the Natural wonders of the world.....if you are that lady come along for the ride
