Once upon a time there was this nice lady who throught it was time to find a companion........someone as nice as herself.....to spend some time with and do things that are meant for a couple...like dancing,maybe,going to movies,occassionally,group occasions,weddings,birthday parties.etc. She decided she would look the most convenient way.......by joining Matchmakers. It would take less time than going to,let me see,clubs,churches,malls,etc., and she could do it on her own time and when she was in the mood. First she had to think up a motto for the day and then tell a bit about herself and what she desired in a male friend. She thought it would be a good idea to have a friend who mostly shared her points of view on life but not that much like her that he was a male clone of herself. She thought ansd thought.........and thought....and considred what she would say. Eventually, she decided that she wouldn't say a whole lot but would just mention she loved spending time with family and good friends.......walks in the woods and camping in the parks. She would like to see a bit more of the island and visit Labrador a few times....but she has no desire for world travelling or hot sunny places like Florida.......except maybe once for the sake of seeing what is was like I suppose or if her new found companion liked it so much that she would compromise and go even more than once if she enjoyed it too. Her companion would have to be near her own age and not expect to be waited on hand and foot but would do his share of the work when it came to camping or travelling or anything for that matter. So she thought it would be nice if the other person could listen to her thoughts and be somewhat understanding and considerate. IIt would be an asset if he was finacially secure enough that she didn't need to continue working full-time but she would like to work part-time and have time to finish her two books which had started long ago when she was a young girl...and she is still that girl...the only difference is she is ten pounds heavier and her hair turns silver if she doesn't add a bit of colour now and then. So should there be a thoughtful,intelligent,considerate older gentleman who would have similar interests .......then respond and she will do her best to get back to you within the next few days or weeks as she is a busy person and corresponding takes time and thinking time as well as typing time. .
